Sash Group/**** ********* have received $75k from me for a remodel project with the remaining 5k to be paid upon project completion. In mid October **** promised the project would be finished by November 15th. At that same October meeting I gave **** $5k. From that date to present very little work has been done, maybe a day and a half at most. He’s in the midst of a dispute with one sub contractor concerning payment for work done at my house. He owes the sub 3k. He wants the sub to finish the project for 2 k. He’ll then repay the 3k he owes the sub. The proceeds coming from my final payment. In the meantime, the sub has threatened to put a lien on my house. I sincerely hope this issue can be resolved asap without having to persue litigation.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:Shortly after my complaint was received **** sent me an angry text message suggesting extra charges to correct some mistakes made by his company and for moving some refrigerators. I've been flexible and patient and I'm not willing to spend more money. There's lots of work left to be completed. This project has been going for 16 months and its time to wrap it up. I just want the job I was sold and a specified end date. I also think he should feel free to contact me to expedite completion of the project.

I am rejecting this response because:Work has stopped again. It's been almost two weeks since any more work has been done. We haven't heard from or been contacted by Sash Group with any updates. I sent **** a text last week and he said he's waiting on the cabinet builder to finish a vanity. There is still a lot of work to be completed besides the vanity. We have tenants waiting to move in and need a firm end date. Finishing the project iASAP is in both parties best interest.
