In April we signed an agreement with Bear bnb to manage our property in Florida. We purchased, 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, 6 top dining room, living room sectional, 6 top out door dining, TV stand, coffee table, 2 lamps and some art and decor. We need *****, the owner to finish the rest if the items as far as linen, dishes, bedding, towels, cameras, smart locks etc. Initially he said he wanted $15,000 and we ok, send us a detailed invoice of what money was being allocated, he then said he need $17,00 and could not give a detailed invoice because he runs a big business and purchases the items from special location. We (living in Kansas City, and the property being Florida) were pressed and needed to make a disison so we hired him in good faith. After we sent the our $17,000 check to him, he then did not show up for face time walk brought and claimed that somehow his schedule was messed up. He launched our property 17 days later then stated, without letting us know he was behind, we were always asking him, when the property is going to be ready and kept dragging it on. After 4 of him managing for us, we figure we better come check the house. When we arrived at 9pm, all of the beds where stripped, not a single clean bed sheet, 2 of the beds were full of urine, there was 10 bags of trash piled behind the house, when we called him, he refused to answer the phone. So we took it to social media where is always located. After seeing out posts with the photos, he (via ******** message) sent us a message state that he was canceling our agreement and locked us out the systems to be able to see what was happening with our property on the online rental site. We asked him to explain what he used our funds for because of the cheap items he purchased (1 king bed and mattress, 3 lamps, 3 set of curtains, 3 TVs, bed sheets, towels, 3 rugs, 2 small ottomans, a ew fake trees, and cheap plastic wear and dishes, 2 shower curtains, bathroom rugs, some art and decor, he has nothing to say.Business response

We're out of KC so we don't have our cleaners down there. We contract cleaners out from there. What they were upset about is that it hadn't been cleaned from the last guests.
The itemized list is in the contract. They have a copy of that. If they need another copy of that, we are more than happy to send it. We have to pay people to unpack everything and put it together.
