    This provider performed services while I was inpatient with a local hospital and initially billed me for services before insurance had processed the claim. When a second bill was received indicating the claim had been denied, I contacted my insurance company and was told they had not received a claim from the provider, as it had been filed with the wrong BCBS entity. Provider was advised and correct information for claim filing was given to their billing department. Claim was filed, but was filed incorrectly as service code and diagnosis code didn’t match. Provider made no attempt to correct their error and simply sent me to collections. Multiple outreaches have been made to provider via telephone contact with a CSR from BCBS on the phone with me explaining that the provider had the option to either refile the claim with the needed corrections or they could write off the charges. They COULD NOT balance bill me, the insured, as they are an in network provider and per their contract with BCBS, this is prohibited. Each contact assured us the claim would be refiled. Today (3/21/24), on a call with their CSR we were told the claim had been refiled 3/18/24, after we had been told on a call on 3/4/24 that a corrected claim would be filed within 7 days via fax filing. When the BCBS CSR could not find the claim in their system, I asked that we call the provider again and request confirmation of the filing of the claim from them, a different CSR informed her the claim had NEVER been refiled, but that a grievance had been filed, but not until today. From reading reviews online, this seems to be a pattern for this company. Sending people to collections rather than correcting their billing errors is not only unfair to insureds who don’t know how to fight this practice, it’s unethical.

    As complaints made by most others against United Imaging Consultants LLC. They are very poor in handling their ********. I received **** from United Imaging Consultants LLC. I required they Provide me full medical records to show the billing is related to my medical history. But they never did. I have health insurance that covers all cost. So they should **** my insurance company rather than me.
