      On April 10, 2024 my computer was "frozen" with a virus. I researched ********* Support and called the number provided **************. I was connected with a "partner" company VONETEL. They did fix my computer when I purchased a 1 year support agreement. I have since attempted to call the number provided only to get nothing but a dead phone or to be put on hold forever with no answer. I checked and saw that BBB has them listed as a accredited company, but i am afraid that someone is using the name to scam people.

      Sorry for this bad experience with our tollfree lines . sometimes we receive a large number of calls and thats why many calls goes to voicemail , you can call directly to our manager ***** cell phone number ************ in case of any issue , we tried reacing you today on given phone number but its on voicemail , looking forward to hear from you soon . ORDER NUMBER:**** DATE: FEBRUARY 16, 2023 TOTAL PAID: $149.98 PAYMENT METHOD: CREDIT CARD.. BALANCE DUE $0.00. CALLED VONETEL REGARDING SYSTEM PROBLEM ON 4/11/24. SPOKE WITH TECH PAUL, WAS ADVISED THAT I COULD USE MY COMPUTER, BUT TO REMOVE HACKERS, IT WOULD COST BECAUSE MY SERVICE HAD EXPIRED. I TRIED TO ADVISE HIM OF THE PURCHASE OF THE 3 YEAR SERVICE PURCHASED ON 2/10/2023, HE TOLD ME NO. I TRIED TO ADVISE HIM OF THE 2 CHARGE CARD PAYMENTS AND WHO I SPOKE WITH BUT HE WOULD NOT ACCEPT WHAT I SAID AND WOULD NOT ACCEPT MY ORDER NUMBERS AND WHO I TALKED TO. BEFORE I COULD ASK FOR SUPERVISOR HE TERMINATED THE PHONE CALL.

      On March 14, 2023 I dialed a ********* ******* ******, as my computer was hacked. It was addressed by a "partner"' company: ******* ************* Services. I gave them access to my computer and they got it working after I signed up for a 3 year service protection in the amount of $399.98 which I paid for with my Credit Card. Since then I spoke with some **** ***** staff at **** *** and they said this was a scam and not a ********* Partner. Is there anything you can do? Thank you in advance.
