We tried to bring our aviation maintenance facility to Forbes field in Topeka. We contacted millionaire (freeman holdings group) to obtain a lease for hangar 609. We negotiated a lease price and met their insurance requirements. They sent the lease agreement to be signed by the city and when it was our turn they changed the insurance requirements to impossible standards. That is not the problem, I can take no for an answer, but when I asked why they responded with they are no longer interested in leasing to me. I called and left a voicemail and they sent out a email to not only me, but several other airport authorities speaking misinformation and flat out lies to them about me. They did this to keep out competition at the airport and to keep me from leasing directly from the city. I tried to call them to discuss it and they threaten legal action if I tried to contact them.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The problem is, your continue to have this false narrative spread across the airport. Instead of reaching out to me and asking me what the problem is I was continually ignored. I reached out to ***** numerous times and his response was always. He is the middleman and he doesn’t know so that is why I tried to reach out to the Kansas City location. I don’t understand what the miscommunication is because I never cussed at any employees. I encourage you to go back and listen to the voice conversations. I never once said, I could not afford the rent, insurance, or utilities. And that is why I think this misunderstanding of unprofessionalism is spread by *****. All I wanted to do was to speak to someone about why they did not want to lease to me if someone would’ve explained to me the reasoning, maybe it could’ve been fixed or communicated properly. It seems like you have an internal problem of miscommunication and I really hope you fix it. You keep stating that I harassed your employees from the Kansas City location. All I did was call a few different employees and ask to talk to the person that does the rental agreements. I was never rude, and I never cussed at them since no one would help I left two voicemails one to the CEO and one to the COO. You were acting like I called 10 different people and left voicemails on their phones and constantly called them back and bullied them. I never did any of that. I hold myself higher than that. I don’t understand why your company would be so scared to talk to a potential tenant.  I would’ve excepted no for an answer as long as you explain, but I have the email chain showing how our original insurance was accepted, the lease negotiations were accepted, and we were told the lease was being sent to the city so they can sign it and then it would be our turn to sign. All of a sudden, they said they changed the insurance requirements to an impossible standard. I wanted to know why and no one would tell me why it looked very suspicious because according to my insurance agent who has been doing aviation business insurance for 28 years, that kind of insurance does not even exist. All you had to do was explain the situation. I have asked multiple times for someone to call me and explain the situation and I’ve received no response. I am being treated like I am a child Throwing a temper tantrum when all I am doing is calling and asking to speak to someone. It’s very sad for a business your size to act so unprofessional and communication So much that lies are spread throughout the entire airport. You could’ve contacted me directly so I could explain what actually happened and we would have been able to move on with the next hanger location but instead you decided to blast an email to the entire airport spreading false allegations and making us look bad. So yes, I did leave you a bad ****** review to provide the information to other small business owners in the area about how I was treated. stop acting like I’m harassing you and defaming your business, grow up and communicate with your customers. Also, my name is ******* ******, I am the owner of ****** Enterprises, Strategic Aircraft, ****** Aviation, ******** rentals, ****** AMZ, and *** venture. So to bring up my “inability” to run a business is absurd! I have hundreds of clients all over the United States under multiple businesses. You think that since you are a big business you can bully and harass everyone out of the city owned airport and honestly it’s working! All I did was try and give you money and bring a small business into a community I’ve spent my whole life in and I’m turn you spread lies.

By the way I talked to ****** at the MTAA And he confirmed that I never asked them to move out their stuff. they don’t even have stuff in that hanger so that doesn’t even make sense. This is what I mean by your miscommunication problems. You really need to have a talk with *****, Because I believe most of this miscommunication is going through him, and that is why I wanted to go directly to your Kansas City location and talk to you. That is why I left a Voicemail on the CEOs phone. If I have an employee That is miscommunicating and doesn’t want to do their job, I want to know about it, as any business should.Numerous times ***** told me that he’s just the middleman he has no more information. Right when we walked into that hanger with *****, he told us that there was a waterline burstAnd they made an insurance claim and use the money elsewhere. When I brought that up to you, you told me I was making false allegations. I am just communicating to you what your general manager communicated to me. See the problem?

I will once again reiterate for you to please give me a call to where we can have a professional discussion. I am no longer interested in leasing from you nor will I ever be, but this belligerent behavior is unacceptable and needs to be stopped.

      Sincerely,

      ******* ****** ***** ********
