On Oct. 6 2023 we put down a $2000.00 deposit which was half down. C2 Contracting starting our epoxy deck job on Oct. 16th 2023. They put cement board down and filled the seams. On Oct 21 2023 they put the flakes down, the flakes sat in the weather for 1.5 weeks before they put the first layer of top coat on. He then told us they will come back for 2nd layer of top coat to protect it from weather and make it waterproof. He never showed. We have called many many times, texted a lot, and emailed. We did everything possible to get ahold of him and no answer. We have went through winter and now its spring and weather went from snow to rain so deck has been ruined. Water sat under the concrete board since there was cracks along all seams and never could dry out. I even swept as much water/snow as i could to help save it. He knew about the seams/cracks and chose to ignore us and not fix the problem. We also paid for materials that have since been ruined from the weather because he never finished the job. - Concrete Boards - $559.65 - Advantech Subfloor - $747.32 - Dynagrip Adhesive - $46.32 - Screws - $59.98 - 1X12 (12) - $178.56 - tax - $127.35 total - $1739.18 plus 1/2 down deposit = 3739.18 We would like to be refunded as this project has now cost us more in the long run and now we no longer have a deck that can be used. We spent a lot of money in materials and the deposit to him and he wont answer us at all.
