April 15th I bought my used (new to me Altima) the hood latch was stuck which was a recall, so the dealership (Nissan Topeka) ordered the part in and I left the car for the replacement because the part had to be ordered in I got a text April 17th "Part came in car is ready" May 3rd hood gets jammed again, so I take to to Nissan and explain the hood latch is stuck I cant get it open. A tech sprays the latch with some spray and sends me on my way, so I head down the road to a mechanic friend to show him, and the hood wont open... he gets it open and is like thats a old part, they didnt change your new part, take the car back. I head back to Nissan and the hoods again stuck shut, I tell them I need the part actually replaced. They try to tell me the part they put in, was probably dysfunctional and they JUST HAPPEN TO HAVE THE PART I NEED IN STOCK, so they will fix it this day (at this point i cant mark the part to make sure no more shenanigan's happen because the hoods stuck shut) About 5pm I get a call the car is ready I keep hearing this loud thumping sound (like when you have a flat tire) so i get out all looks fine... I keep on down the highway but the thumping is really loud so I take a video of the sound Come to find out the techs did not put all the lug nuts back on and tighten the tire I call and I explained that they forgot to put my tire back on. Tech talks to another tech who says he forgot to put the tire on" So I get my car back today, with some apology of "the tech told the other tech to do it, this is very unfortunate.
