I have left 4 messages for a manager named ********* for a return call regarding the fit and fitting for my glasses but to date she has not responded. When I went in for a fitting for my newest pair of glasses I was not assisted in any way. The employee was holding my glasses by the earpiece rather than holding them properly; and I had to find a table and try to fit them myself. They are still not correct and I need someone who actually has experience and knows what they are doing for slightly complicated prescription. The ill fitting glasses are affecting my work performance and causing headaches. I am seeking at least a minimal professional standard of care and follow up that I paid for, but to date have not received even that. Thank you for any assistance you can provide and efforts on my behalf.Business response

This incident involves the Ottawa, KS office of The Eye Doctors. The Ottawa, KS office was not an option on the pull down menu. I returned a pair of prescribed glasses because the prescription was WAY off. I went to another provider and was told I did not need a prescription. I have called the billing office 6 times now and been into the office twice with no resolution. I am not trying to get the money back for the exam. I simply want the cost of the wrongly prescribed glasses (that I immediately returned). My bill was for $345.20. I am only asking for the $291.20 cost of glasses to be returned. I feel I have been more than patient with them since this happened on March 12, 2024.Business response

On 3/6/2024, I took my son to the business. They completed an eye exam, we ordered new contracts and glasses. They told me the total was $470.72, which I paid using my health savings account. I received a bill for $254.00. I called the Billing department who said I only paid $219 and some change. They said they would look into and call me back. I haven't received a callback. I went to the business and they said that I don't owe anything. Today I received a message saying I owe $254.00. No one can explain to me where the rest of the $470.72 went. *** It won't let me upload pictures for supporting documents ***Business response
