I initially contacted Adam on 12/26/22 to paint my basement ceiling, trim work and doors in the upstairs and the stairwell. I contacted him through his web site. He said he would be out the next day and I never saw or heard from him. On 1/09/23 he gave me an estimate without seeing the job and from my description. I agreed to the estimate and he wanted payment of half up front and cost of paints. I paid him for 1/2 and the paint. Then his sprayer broke down and he needed $*** more and I paid this. The **** *** kept sending me a statement saying I needed to pay $ *** and $*** and I had problems in the past and if I hit decline it would shut down my credit cards. So I paid these again. I told Adam what I had done and I figured I would just pay less in the end. Yesterday he contacted me saying he needed 2 more gallons of paint for $***. He has not seen my house so I don't know how he knew he needed 2 more cans of paint and 2 cans of pain should only cost $**. I told declined this and he asked for $ *** and I declined this. Today he emailed me stating he needed gas money or he couldn't get to my house. I consulted my company's legal website and they recommended contacting the BBB. We had agreed to have this done by March 1 and I have yet to even see him. He keeps asking for money and it sounds like a scam to me.
