      I hired ***** **** of this business to do my taxes for 2021. I was sent a 32-page document ensuring that this was complete and paid her the amount due for her services. Everything seemed to go smoothly and she was easy to work with that year, so I tried to use her again for 2022 taxes. She did not return calls in a timely manner and I had a gut feeling that something was up, so I did my own taxes in 2022. In calling the IRS for a completely separate issue, I learned that she never actually submitted my 2021 taxes, despite having all the paperwork drawn up. I never received notification from the IRS or from ***** that those were not complete. I have called Bookkeeping and Beyond to try to resolve the situation and have not received a call back from *****. Her assistant always says that she is busy and I never get a response. I have heard this is happening to others. I am sure that I will receive a fine of (estimated) $665 from the IRS for not filing in time. In addition to this amount, I paid ***** $225 for her services that she did not complete. I would like to be refunded the combination of those two items. I was referred by someone who had a great experience with ****** and she was wonderful to work with up until she did not complete services. I understand there were some personal things going on for her during this time period, and I am very disappointed as I would have happily worked with her to file on paper before the deadline. With communication, this could have all been avoided had I known she was struggling to meet deadlines.

      The parties were notified of concerns with identity wherein we were unable to file as it was stating that one party had already filed a tax return. Spoke with **** and then ******** (October, 2022) wherein he confirmed his identity had been stolen at the beginning of 2022 and we believed such was causing the inability to file the return. In early 2023, **** called again and we spoke again about the identity issues and that they would need to make contact with the IRS as we were unable to get around the identity issue. She mentioned forgetting about this and being reminded on the February 8th phone call about the identity issue. In March, 2023 **** advised they were filing their own taxes for 2022 tax year. In October, 2023 **** contacted our office requesting proof of her payment to our office and such was provided same day. The topic of no communication is absolutely inaccurate as we have spoken with them both off and on for over a year on this issue. We will refund the fees however all work was performed on our part and identity issues cannot be overcame by the tax preparer.

      On 04Mar22 I paid bookkeeping N beyond to file my 2021 taxes. For 6 months the owner insisted taxes were taking longer than normal for everyone. Today (06SEP22) I spoke to an IRS agent, who told me my taxes had never been filed. Now I have to submit my taxes several months late, and pay whatever penalties come with this.

      My significant other & I own a business ********** in which we have been using Nicki/Nicole **** with Bookkeeping N Beyond to do our payroll & pay our payroll taxes (that she has been collecting weekly) and we also had her file last year's tax return. We have been asking for over 6 weeks for a monthly statement, billing breakdown & also receipts/confirmations from the IRS that they have received the payments she has been collecting. They have no knowledge that we have any employees & have NOT received a dime on our behalf. I of course did some digging, ***************************************************************************************************. ***************************************************************************************************************************************. I want to know why she has been getting away with this for this long. *********************************************************************************************************** She is a *****. She is a ****. ******************* myself want to know how is she still in business? ************************************************************************************************************ How can we stop her?! How can this be made right? Why has NOBODY outed her for what she truly is?! I have plenty of evidence & proof of what she has done, I am just not uploading those documents on here.       Bookkeeping N Beyond is an accounting service. I met with them in March of 2022 to file 2021 taxes. I was under the impression state and local taxes were both filed electronically; I also paid for this service. I have since learned taxes were not filed with the state of ** or the IRS. Working with the owner, Nicki ****, to resolve the issue has been extremely difficult. ******************************************************************************************** I would like assistance with my issue and to let others know there may be unethical behavior in addition to unprofessional behavior.

Such were taken with him and his wife in person after all parties signed. We believe this complaint was resolved prior to being filed as the party left with the requests in hand. As far as difficult to work with, the parties communications were responded to via email and even a phone call or two. Our office had been in communication with the filing party off and on with more than 8 communications back and forth from August 3rd (initial call) to August 19th (in person meeting).       Nicki ***** the owner of bookkeeping and beyond has failed to give any proof our taxes were filed with the IRS. We have called/emailed/texted with no response from her or her team. They said to wait 120 for the IRS to send our return however it has been past 120 days and she has ghosted us. She owes us $****. She also tried changing our returns before sending them to the IRS stating we had not received a stimulus check when my husband and I both informed her we had while doing the paper work in her office. ************************************************ We just want what we are owed.       Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/08/29) */ Contact Name and Title: Nicole **** Contact Phone: ********** Contact Email: **************************** Upon a call to our office on April 12, 2022 the parties desired to file a joint return after the initial in person meeting (April 11, 2022) wherein we had prepared such as individual returns. On July 12, 2022 an email was received by wide where on July 13, 2022 such was replied to advising of the April 12th filings of their returns. We then received a call on August 11, 2022 asking about a status update from the husband on this matter, wherein they were advised of what we are being told by the IRS. One major complaint was regarding their stimulus monies wherein on April 15th wife made us aware they had received them but such was after the initial filing(s) which most likely would cause issues in their filing delays as the IRS will adjust said return. Wife also emailed on May 5th with a same day response from me personally. The claim of being ghosted is outrageous as we have communicated frequently and even same day with these parties. The claim of text not being replied to, if there was a text sent the parties may not be aware that the land line of our office does not receive text messages and therefore would not be replied to. Regarding our office owing them anything in the amount of $***** is absurd as that means we would have to have their money to owe to them and their refunds were posted to deposit into their accounts as listed on their return. Our taxes have not been filed for 2021. Bookkeeping and Beyond never sent them to the IRS and now we are meeting with them Wednesday to get them recorded. The IRS stated that the "e-filed receipt" was not done properly. This needs to be handled at a criminal level. Please hold her accountable for being negligent and stealing money from people without filing their taxes. We paid her to file our taxes and the IRS has now found they were NEVER RECEIVED. This is unacceptable.
