      We took an auto loan out via car dealer on in January. We received our booklet to send payment to. I paid the entire amount on the booklet that was said due on March 7. I got on the website the next day and it said we owed * *****. I talked to Demetrius and it was taken out of the savings account. I then receive a letter saying they can not find our account. So I called again and talked to Dena She tried to charge me more intest and finally agreed to me that it was their fault. I gave her our checking information again and she guaranteed to me that she would watch the payment go through and will call me. No phone call. Received yet another letter on March 20 stating again they can't find our account. I called and talked to the supervisor and she tried to tell me that the check that I sent here was not a correct check. Whatever, I use these checks on a daily basis and the inital payment was from the same book. She tried to tell me I would be paying any fees and additional interest. I will not pay more than $****** which I don't even owe. I want this settled now. Plus I keep getting emails from the insurance department of the union that says I need to submit insurance. did that too. Not doing it again.

      I just received an email from our personal auto insurance stating they called him wanting the proof of insurance.  I sent them the proper insurance declaration page from the appropriate company when I initially got notification that they needed it.  The truck is no longer financed through them and I don't feel that they have any need for anything further from me.

      I believe a written apology from the bank is needed, along with a refund of the $****** for them causing the inconvenience and stress of getting this taken care of.  They denied to admit that they were wrong with rejecting our checking account information over the phone just because it didn't have my name listed on the check.  They did accept the initial check of $*** in hand which was the exact same check, without my name on it because the accounting department refused to accept the check via over the phone.  I contacted my bank while talking to the supervisor of Mid American and she reassured them that the money was in the account and there was no reason for them not to accept.  Instead, she made me send the same check without my name on it to them to clean up the account.  I believe that is fraud on their part.  I just checked the bank online and there has been no change in the account and I reluctantly spent my postage and time taking it to the post office.  Me, as a consumer and my husband do not feel that this was taken care of appropriately and I will make sure to get onto their website and express my concerns for others to trust them.

      I will not accept anything until the account is closed and my check is sent back to me.

      I have reviewed your recent communication with Mid American.  Specifically, the recent transactions on your loan account.  I do apologize for the inconvenience that was caused due to the electronic check payments being returned and not applied to your account.
       In researching the matter, it appears the names for the checking account did not match and that is why it was returned “account not found”.   In order to process electronic payments, the account names given must match the checking account name at the financial institution where it is located. 
      Thank you for your check for $****** that was applied to your loan today and your loan account is now paid in full.

      i received a letter stating they were going to start charging us *$ a month for the savings account associated with the account. I have asked them on every phone call to close the account. Why am I getting a letter of this nature instead of a check for the balance?  And why did I get another lien release when I already got it. For goodness sakes. Do your job and close this account and send me notification that it is done. We are tired of dealing with your company. Ridiculous!!!

      until I receive notice that the savings account is closed and we will not be billed $* a month , this is not resolved.

      Per the member's request, we have closed the savings account and mailed a letter to the member today, 4/3/2023.   We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
