My stay required a $100 deposit. I returned 2 days later to retrieve it and was told I had already been given my deposit back. This is completely false. I asked to see the deposit log and was told that there was no log and if I didn't like it I could call the cops. This came from the top guy I at the establishment.Initial Complaint

I made a reservation through ********* for a 1 night stay at ******* ****** for 2 double rooms. Upon check in on 07/14/2023, I gave the front desk agent 2 separate credit cards, one for for each room, for what the front desk agent advised was a $100 incidentals hold on each room. Upon checkout on 07/15/2023, I requested a receipt as to which they advised they would not provide me one since this reservation was covered through *********. After reviewing my credit card statements, they have made unauthorized payments on my cards. I called the front desk again today 07/19/2023 and the agent advised these were “parking fees and taxes and fees”. All which were covered by my reservation through *********. I have attached the charges through my banking app.Initial Complaint

My family and I had a reservation to stay at Wyndham Gardens Wichita downtown hotel 5/26 & 5/27. We arrived 5/26 near 11pm. The front desk had multiple difficulties checking us in and asked for a different credit. Once they got us checked in we went to the elevators and they were not functioning. Our room was on the 7th floor. The staff came and reset the elevator. While we waited for the elevator the whole area smelled like urine. Behind us was a restaurant area that was blocked off but had water actively leaking from the ceiling into a large garbage can. Once we got to the 7th floor we split up into our two separate rooms. Just outside my hotel room door was construction supplies. Upon entering the room we saw Sheetrock debris in the bathroom and on the carpet. My husband is a pest inspector so he decided to check our bed and our sons room for bed bugs. Both rooms had active bed bugs. So we immediately went down to the front desk and notified them of the bed bugs and let them know we can’t stay there due to the conditions of their facility. Yet, the hotel charged my two credit cards for two nights. They often don’t answer their phone and when they do they tell me to email the manager. They won’t give me a name or phone number for the manager. The manager replied to 2 of my emails with the same response: I will check into this and get back to you. It’s been more than 3 weeks since my stay. It shouldn’t take this long to get a detailed response from the hotel. And honestly due to their construction conditions I am concerned as to whether they should be open and operating.
