We hired Apex to build a 6ft privacy fence. We ran into a property line dispute with a neighbor, the city of El Dorado told us to halt construction until the complaint was resolved. We got a Survey completed on Oct. 10th. Since then we have tried repeatedly to contact Apex to redo part of the fence and finish the rest of the fence. We have had zero response back from the owner Cody. The original contract stated the fence would be completed on September 11th. Apex was behind this date even before the dispute and had asked for a second payment of $1500, which we gave them. The original $5534.25 required in the contract was mostly for supplies. Now we have a fence that is at best 1/3 finished counting what has to be redone on the South side to be on our property. We have some materials sitting in our backyard but not enough to finish the fence even if we hire another contractor. We would like Apex to honor the contract and finish the fence. But at a minimum we would like a refund to finish buying supplies and pay another contractor. I have pictures of the current state of the fence, but cannot upload them at this time. Thank you!
