  JM Plumbing was, for me, a costly disaster. Details below. But prior to telling all of it, let me say this. They left my house with a flooded basement. Even if they did not fix the problem they could have used my wet vac and taken the water up. Instead, I had dangerous toxic water standing in the basement, stinking and making my basement unusable. My main sewer line was apparently plugged up. I had water standing on the floor. The husband and wife team sent the husband and another young man out and they snaked the main and the secondary. They claimed they found very few roots. They claimed they could not fix the secondary because my problem was I needed a totally need sewer. They said they'd have a quote for me in a day or two. Well, they did not get me a quote (for which I'm grateful.) The office woman never one time answered my emails and was **********. Not professional. They do not care about their customers and are not experienced enough to fix a problem like I had.

I do apologize that you sent an email that we were unable to respond to due to us never receiving it. As I explained on the phone I welcome feedback good and bad, and am always striving to become a better person. I do apologize if you think I was rude in any way shape or form. On the phone you did express that you couldn't give me a reason as to why you thought I was unfriendly so I do apologize once again for any reason at all. I did contact the technician that was out there and they did state that the basement was not flooded due to work they performed. Here is a description of work done: Diagnosis: Main sewer stoppage. Basement clean out. Work done: Technician ran spade, 2" & 3" retriever bit to only retrieve a very small amount of roots. Sewer line is approximately 70' long Technician tan 100' without success. Originally price was $*** due to not clearing stoppage only a diagnostic fee will be charged. Only $*** diagnostic. Technician will request a tap and depth to be able to give further options on repair. We did not charge a large amount for work done and we do apologize for not getting back to you to replace the line. That is 100% our fault, we should have followed up. You did state on the phone that someone quoted you $**** to replace the line. Which my technician stated that's what needed to be done to completely clear stoppage. We do take our job and our small family owned business serious and with pride. We are sorry we did not meet your expectations. If you would still like a quote we could definitely send one out. I did not want a quote from you in our conversation after I filed the complaint. Did not request one. The work is already done by another company. All work is done by other people. I am requesting a full refund basically because the workers you sent out left a flood of water on my basement floor and did not at the very least vac the water up. I ended up with mold and a smelly basement that took a lot of work to restore. That, in my opinion, is the fault entirely of your plumbers. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/09/21) */ Hello. Unfortunately when we arrived you already had sewage on the floor due to your line backing up. We did not cause that. You called us out for a sewage stoppage that is why there was sewage on the floor. We diagnosed the problem which is what the other plumber diagnosed as well and that is why you needed a new line. We did our job effectively and timely. I do apologize for the missed email but we have always responded by phone immediately and thru this. If you would have called the office and expressed your concern or told us you would like a refund we could have met in the middle but you instantly went to file a complaint against us. There "was" water on the floor when the men left. If you choose not to refund my money, I will simply leave feedback in all the places that others look to find help like you offer.
