I have reached out to my HOA six times since 1/24/23 regarding multiple issues and have yet to receive a response. At the beginning of 2022 we received a newsletter stating that remodeling would be taking place on our condos starting in Jan 2022 and the remodel would be on two units per year until each unit was remodeled. No remodeling has taken place, so I'm not sure what those funds were spent on. We also didn't have an annual meeting in 2022, which is required per the bylaws. We've also never received a financial statement for 2023. I've been made aware that the president of the HOA has stepped down and there is not one person on the board. This has me even more concerned on what our money is being spent on each month because no one is there to oversee the expenses. Five of my reach outs were via email, I have verified that the email address I'm contacting is correct. My other reach out was a phone call. I left a message with I believe Tina, who told me that I would receive a call back by the end of the day and I never did. This phone call was on 2/1/23. Katie is typically the person who responds to these reach outs and I know she is receiving my emails because I did receive an out of office response for her at one point. I'm extremely frustrated that I have lived in this condo for 23 months and these issues have never gotten better. Last time I made a complaint with the BBB they responded almost immediately, but when I reach out without getting the BBB involved I'm left with no response. If our money isn't going towards making our homes a better place, I'm not sure why we're each spending $***** per year on this so called "service." It seems like they only thing they properly maintain is cutting the grass. I don't feel like it is right to keep paying this monthly fee when I don't see anything improving. I think our funds are being misused and I would like proof of where they're being spent. An typed up excel spreadsheet (like last year) will not satisfy me.Business response

I called and left you a voicemail. We do have one Board member as of today. Tony *******, we are interested in more people joining the Board. The major expense for your condo Assocation is insurance, then you have mowing, fert, irrigation, I wanted to have a meeting, but Ginger pushed it off, I will contact Tony and find a good day. I am rejecting this response because: I’ve never received a phone call or voicemail from you. I find it extremely ironic that we find a board member once a complaint has been placed. Why haven’t any homeowners been made aware that you’re looking for board members? I’m sure there are people who live in our condos who would like to be on the board. It doesn’t matter the excuse as to why there wasn’t an annual meeting. What matters is that an annual meeting is REQUIRED and there wasn’t one. I know that since 2020 there has been one meeting. How is Rescom getting away with no abiding by their own bylaws? If there’s a different contact email you would prefer to be contacted by then that is what needs to be listed on the website. I would also like to see proof of how much is being spent on the expenses listed above. I find it hard to believe those expenses cost $****** per year.

I have attached a Budget for 2023, As you can see what we take in there are no funds left. I am working with Tony for a May meeting for additional Board members and agenda .Customer response

Our homes are not being taken care of by Rescom. There's wood rot, missing trim, exposed siding/wood, full gutters, etc. We also have not received our annual newsletter that was supposed to come out in August. The bylaws state that we should receive one every year and I've checked with multiple homeowners who have lived there for years and they have never received anything. They also don't respond to emails/phone calls. I have emailed them eight times since 8/10/21 with zero responses. I have made sure that the email address I have is correct. I have also called them two since since 11/11/21 and have had no luck receiving what I've been asking for. The bylaws also state that someone from the HOA is supposed to come out each week to walk around the condos and make sure everything is in good condition and I have yet to see someone come out. I don't think they are doing their job and I don't think our money is going towards the condo's upkeep. We each pay $*** per month and there are 28 units. With making almost $****** a year I feel like our houses should be better maintained. If I read the bylaws and the requirements of the HOA they meet none of them.Business response

The Board has budgeted for some siding and trim to be replaced on your unit in 2022. I will let you know soon when the scheduled is available for this unit, unfortunately being a small community, the funds are not always available. As you know from the annual meeting the insurance alone is ** percent of the budget, plus trash, common areas, electric etc. The Board has come up with a siding plan for 2022, I have out this home at the top of the list, I have the pictures. They stated that they've emailed me three different times but I have never received one. I check my email and junk folder daily. I've been requesting the annual newsletter and the meeting minutes since august and haven't received it. They're also required to send out an annual financial statement and I've never received that either. Last year financials were mailed with Newsletter on 1/21/21, I will also upload to the portal in Jan 2022. I have still not received the newsletter that I was told would be sent out in January along with the financial statement. I have sent two emails (2/1/22 and 2/7/22) about this with no response. I have checked all of my folders, including my spam folder. I have also checked the app my HOA uses to see if anything has been uploaded on there and nothing has. In my prior complaint they stated that they have reached out three times which is wildly inaccurate. I have documentation stating every email I've sent that have each received zero responses. The professionalism of this company is extremely lacking and incredibly frustrating. I would like these issues taken care of immediately.
