Took my 2006 Chrysler 300 to Bourbon Trail Auto shop 12/30/21 the cars check engine light was on and the error code was *****Cylinder #3 Misfire, Bourbon Trail Auto said it was an ignition coil or spark plug so I told them to replace all spark plugs along with the coil, was finished with my car 01/04/22 paid the bill of $262.29 and was headed home and the check engine light came back on so I took car back and they said I needed two more coils and they would only charge me for the parts which at the time sounded like a deal, went to pick car up on 02/11/22 and paid another $160.00 and before I was a half mile away from their shop the engine light came back on so I took it back and the mechanic asked me if it was running bad and I said it didn't seem like it was and he said it had to be a broke wire or faulty connection that I should just drive it.. really? I stated that I paid over $400.00 to have it fixed and my check engine light was on and it was showing 5 different error codes now and he said he would look at it.. over a week passes and calls me and tells me he had his friend *** at another auto shop in Bardstown Ky take a look and he said my computer was bad now.. so I asked what they was gonna do to fix my problem that has worsened each time they so called repaired my car and he told me that maybe I should just take it to a Chrysler dealer, I stated if I was gonna do that I wanted a refund of my money and he said he would after he put all my old parts back in.. very unprofessional of him to act like that so I told him fine and then he said he would order a new computer and install it and that would fix it.. I picked my car up 02/02/22 and the engine light was on and now it has 7 error codes and he told me to drive it for a few days and the light should go off and it should be fine.. well that was last week and my car is still in worse shape than when I first took it to them. I would like for them to have my car fixed properly or refund my money so it can be fixBusiness response

When customer first came in he was informed by mechanic that changing the coils and spark plugs will make car run better but that no guarantee could be given on check engine light going out because the wiring and computer issues that are common with that year Chrysler. The customer has a 2006 with over 160k miles on it and expects it to run like a brand new one. We recommended to customer he should just take it to a Chrysler dealer garage and we issued him a check for refund.
