We hired ************* with Topcut Lawn Service to do landscaping at our new house. He gave an estimate of $16,500. After 1 day of work he moved some gravel and dirt and planted 20 boxwood plants. He had an altercation with a neighbor and quit the project. He left us having to find a new landscaper which caused other delays and expenses (dirt washing out into the street, couldn't close on construction loan, etc.). He submitted a bill for more than we expected. I asked to talk to him about the bill twice and he refused. He had his attorney call me and threaten to place a lien on the house if not paid within 3 days. I feel harassed and taken advantage of by this person. While working on my property his behavior was unprofessional. He was unwilling to discuss the invoice with me. He quit the job due to reasons not related to me.Customer response

After submitting the complaint his attorney contacted me and threatened placing a lien on the house. Instead of spending $3,000 for legal counsel I agreed to pay Top Cut Lawn to get resolution. To my knowledge everything has been resolved. Thank you for checking back with me.
