On 07/06/2023, I took my car to Lee Myles and asked for the price of replacing the brakes on all four wheels and fixing the grinding noise from the front right wheel. They quoted me $355 for the brake replacement and noise repair and scheduled the work for 07/11/2023. On 07/11/2023, I dropped off my car at Lee Myles. I saw the four wheels uninstalled. After I paid, I got my car. When I drove to the road, I immediately noticed the car went wrong: it shook violently like a massage chair, new grinding noises came from the rear wheels, and the car squeezed when turning or reversing. I promptly returned to Lee Myles and told them these issues. The manager acknowledged the issues but said that they were very busy that day and the following days. He asked me to come back on July 25 and promised that they would fix them. On 07/25/2023, as per the scheduled appointment, I returned to Lee Myles but was informed that they were still too busy. They rescheduled me for 07/27/2023. On 07/27/2023, I returned to Lee Myles once again. To my dismay, they denied any responsibility, claiming all the issues were new. The mechanic said they didn’t touch the rear wheels or change the rear wheel brakes. The mechanic stuttered in his response when I questioned him why they had removed the rear wheels if they hadn’t worked on the rear brakes, not to mention that the rear brakes were worn out and I had particularly asked them to change them. Unable to provide a credible explanation, the manager rudely yelled at me to get out of his property. I called the police. I was told that the merchant was bad business practices but the police lacked jurisdiction in civilian cases. On 08/02/2023, I took my car to another mechanic. They discovered that the front brakes and hub were poorly installed that caused squeeze sounds. They also found the rear wheel was bended, causing the shaking and new grinding noises. To rectify these issues caused by Lee Myles, I incurred a total repair cost of $1099.19.

When the vehicle was brought in the original complaint was just noise coming from the vehicle when braking. As we always do when we perform vehicle inspections, we removed all four wheels to verify the issue. At this time there was no issue with the rear of the vehicle, the vehicle was not shaking or vibrating. We changed the front brake pads and a wheel bearing. After the repairs, we performed a test drive, and everything seemed to be fine. After she paid, she then informed us she had an issue with the vehicle starting, nothing else was mentioned. I told her we could schedule her for another date to address that issue. She then returned a few weeks later stating the car was starting fine but now complained of a vibration. Never did she complain of any other noises or issues. I told her since it was starting she should just drive it. She then came back a couple days later complaining of the vibration. We discovered a bent wheel in the rear of vehicle. This was not related to any repair we made. Upon me stating that she became angry with me and my mechanic and then kept stating that i was going to fix it for free. After many attempts to explain the situation, she screamed at me. I then told her to leave my premises and to get off my property. Unfortunately, there is a language barrier that is hard to overcome as well. I feel like i did my best to handle the situation, as for the other repairs they were done correctly and accordingly. If there was an issue with other repair's, we offer a warranty for this reason. I would have been open to resolve this issue.
