BG Tree Man or ******** **** removed trees from two rental houses I own following a tornado in Bowling Green KY on December 15th. He said that given the situation (the tornado), he was not able to provide a quote, but that he works with insurance all the time, and "they will take care of it", meaning he would just work with them. He removed three trees from the structures, and three from the yards. He left one big stump that he should have removed (as attached), though thankful that he didn't given how insane his billing practices are. He quickly followed up with us following the job- which lasted around 8 hours total, asking for payment. He sent many threatening texts that he would put a "lean" against the house, at which point we asked for the invoice. He is trying to bill us $63K for a job that was done horribly, wasn't quoted in advance. We had multiple parties quote it for their price, and they quoted on average $15K. The issues here have to do with overcharging, poor workmanship (not removing the stump), poor business practices (not quoting upfront and surprising people with huge bills). His billing he says is determined based on how dangerous the job is. He says the job was "really" dangerous, so he had to charge more. The structures are all 1 story homes.
