I am not liable for this debt with 10 BOWLING GREEN MUNI Utilities it’s 3 Separate ones. I do not have a contract with C***** ****** ******* They did not provide me with the original contract as I requested.Business response

Good morning,
First attempt on this complaint was not received by our office. The documentation in response to the customer complaint can only be submitted to the customer directly as it contains personal information about the customer. We encourage the customer to contact our office at ************ for the documentation requested.
As a general process, when a balance remains on an inactive account with BGMU, it is sent to collections and our collection agency, ****** ****** ******* attempts collection of the debt. The balance will also show on the customer's credit report. The account number will be the same, but can show up to 3 different balances depending on what services were supplied at the address of the debt. Again, we encourage the customer to contact our office directly at the phone number above to discuss the account in detail.

I called to cancel services because I was moving. I was told by the Customer service employee that what I was paying that day of the amount of $211 was the end of my services with BGMU and I wouldn't have to pay anything else so because of the trust I had in the customer service employee hoping that they had integrity I never looked again to see any other payments. Come to find out there was still a $178 balance due for the following month that I wasn't living there which shouldn't be there but because of the instruction of the customer service employee I didn't even look and it's gotten to the point where now it's on my collections because I wasn't informed that I had a balance still do I was informed of the opposite that I wouldn't have anything else. So now its affected my credit score and is in collections I called in to have the matter fixed and i was treated terrible by customer service employee raven who should be fired from her position for her lack of effort to get me to a supervisor.Business response
