We hired Hometown HVAC to install a tankless hot water heater. Within 3 weeks of being installed. The machine started reading error codes. First one was water. And the second one was gas. According to the manufacturer the machine was installed incorrectly. After contacting Pat with our concerns. We were directed to check out pipes for a sag. First of all I don’t feel this is our responsibility. After multiple failed attempts to talk to Pat about our concerns. I sent him a message stating that If he doesn’t fix out problem. I was going to be forced to hire someone else to do so. This got his attention. He sent me a message. Still no call. I gave their company the opportunity to fix the problem or pay for another contractor to do so. Pat ( owner ) suggested I hired another contractor and he would split the bill with me. I told him I was not willing to do so. And last I heard from him was 15 days ago. He said he would call me the very next day. I am now the owner of a machine that cost me over $3000 dollars that has had two different contractors work on. And what I assume would be no warranty. I have paid $800 to the other contractor. I am now considering having this taken out completely and a new unit installed by a company that will stand behind their work. I have all of our text messages saved and the last call recorded. I’m seeking a full refund for the work preformed incorrectly.
