I dropped my 2012 **** ****** off due to a rubbing noise and oil smell but care was never low or showed signs of leaking other than a smell at times. The rubbing noise was said to be a bent break clip since it would not cause damage which is what I was told when I ask. I told them not to worry about this. I was then told that my valve cover gasket was leaking. I told them to go ahead and change it. I went and paid for my car when the customer care agent called and sad it was ready as I would have to go back later and pick it up due to work time conflicting. I went that evening 7/28/22 6pm to pick my car up. I got home and smoke was coming from under the hood. When raising the hood oil is every where even on my windshield and front grill. My motor was very clean and I maintain my car very well. Oil changes regularly at *** ******** **** London Ky. The nice lady at the counter when I arrived 8am 7/29/22 said she will make sure it is corrected. I received a call stating that the gasket was faulty and they will have to order one and it will not be here until Monday 8/1/22. should this not have been checked prior to saying it was fixed if I would have driven my car to work and back home it would have blown up. I understand that equipment can be faulty. However I referred my brother there and his plugs and wires were changed he had to take it back 3 times due to plug wire popping off. Plus it has popped of again and he had to put it back with no issues since so my concern is I am not sure the parts are failing as much as the techs do not care about the people they are repairing cars for. I am in hopes that the repair will be done correctly and I was told they will clean the motor so we will see. But after my issues and then a family member I am very skeptical. I also had a transmission put in there in the same car and had to return the next day because the tech forgot to re align the front end. I will update once I see if they have actually corrected the issue.Business response
