Back in October me and my wife were looking for a contractor to help finish our basement. We asked around and several people mentioned She’s Right Remodeling, LLC. We hired them and they wrote us out a contract and we agreed to the terms and gave them payment. Sadly, shortly after they asked for more payments and we ended up paying them in full by no later than November. Since then we have had nothing but nightmares with this company. The flooring we ordered sat in my driveway in the elements for over 3 months in the middle of winter. When I asked him about it, he said the floor is pretty much bullet proof. Well that’s fine but there was mold growing on the boxes. Soon after the floor was transferred to our basement. Within the first couple days, his framer working nailed right through the cord that runs out to our A/C unit outside. This is when I really began to question who we hired or who this guy has representing business. He ended up getting someone to come out and fix it. After the framing was done, he didn’t pull permits and ran the electric himself without being licensed. I contacted the code inspector myself and he told me that he knows who the contractor is and has had many issues before. So here it is almost the end of June and the drywall in my basement is no where near being completed. I can provide proof of the contract, of the payments, and current condition of the basement with pictures. I also have pictures dated throughout this entire project that we have taken. After I made a post on Facebook I’ve had numerous of other people reach out to me with the same issues from the same contractor. This company should no longer be in business and him and his wife should be in jail for fraud.
