We signed the contract 10/27/23. work was going to start the day after thanksgiving but the wrong color was ordered. the color we requested apparently wasn’t available so they made the executive decision to order one that was close. Wasn’t near what we wanted. They finally got the new material dropped off 1/5/24 and started on the house. Several issues arose along the way from poor workmanship and some have been completed. I still have several issues that need fixed. The first insurance check expired so I had to go out of my way to get it reissued. The insurance company sent me another check dated 1/29/25 which expires 90 days from issue.I sent Ryan smith an email 2/16/24 with a punch list of everything that needs to be completed. I reached out to him 2/29/24 for an updated time of completion and his response was “ I’ve been trying to get everything scheduled, my siding crew was taken up with a coworkers job last week and this week I haven’t been able to get a hold of him, iMessage is off so I believe it’s a phone issue, once I hear back I will relay to you.“ i just want my house completed and completed right. The issues on the punch list are keeping me from moving forward with other items on the house. I have attached the punch list to this complaint. One thing that wasn’t on the punch list is clean up old materials.

I spoke with **** ***** the ***** of the company yesterday. I had a punch list of items that needed to be fixed that he and I reviewed he initialed several items stating he would have them fixed. After talking to him yesterday I question some of the punch list items and he said I’m not fixing it. Then said he would give me a credit memo for $96x.xx and I could pay someone else to come fix it he’s done messing with it. While I don’t feel the issue was resolved since he refused to fix punch list Items that he signed off on. I will take the credit I still owed and get the issues fixed my self.

****** ******** contracted R-Squared Services for a complete siding replacement.  Job was completed as quoted.  Mr. ******** did not once call to report any outstanding issues and had a full remaining balance.  It was when we reached out to inquire about payment that he brought up the open items and then felt it necessary to contact the BBB to complain.  His items were minor items except and it really took effort to find most of them.  He did have a couple of legitimate issues which we addressed.  We took exception to several items as they were not outside standard industry norms.  He was difficult to deal with and only allowed us to work on a Friday or Saturday.  example - he picked out the color of his siding (special order) and when it arrived he rejected saying it wasn't the correct color (minor shade difference from sample to actual product).  We ate the approximate $5K as the supplier would not take it back.  We sent crews on several occasions to remedy his items to no avail (again absorbing several hundreds of dollars).  We had to threaten him with a lien of property to get paid and he did pay 90% with a 10% retainage for the punch list items.  After several attempts to negotiate and try to satisfy Mr. ********, we agreed to credit him his remaining $960 outstanding balance to remedy the open items (see attached credit invoice).  We have now agreed to settle and have closed out this project with Mr. ********.
