Appleman Construction applied gutter guards to my gutters we just recently started having some heavy rain and I noticed that water is pouring out one side of the gutters. I contacted Appleman more than once and was told someone would get back to me. It’s been 3 months and I’m still waiting. They tried telling me I was to pay them in full but they excepted me making payments and made payment arrangements with me I’m almost done paying them but they haven’t done anything to fix my issue. I’m afraid that they’re waiting to be done with payments then try to charge me again to come out and fix the problem. I feel as long as they’re receiving payments from me I’m still under warranty and deserve my issue to be resolved. If they don’t come to fix it I’m considering them to be paid in full. Please help me resolve this matter.

Ms. ******** job was completed in February of 2020.  Therefore, the warranty period was over in 2021.  Appelman Construction does not make long term payment arrangements with customers.  Ms. ****** has been making her own payments on her own and still owes over $1500 on this job 3 years later.

      Thank you,

      Appelman Construction LLC

Appelman Construction signed a contract to build a lake-house for us on 5/7/2021. It's been more than 15 months since they started what they estimated to be a 5 month project. They've done many things well, and many things dead wrong. Progress has slowed to a snail's pace with no explanation as to why. Most days (for the last three months) no work is done. I've been asking for weeks what their new estimated completion date is and have gotten no response. They have NEVER apologized for any of their errors, several of which are nearly impossible to correct. Appelman (Scott A) has asked to be paid a DRAW that isn't due yet, while still far from completing the work that they have already been paid for. I'm hoping that the BBB might help them understand the importance of communication and finally making properly finishing this project a priority.

Appelman Construction LLC recognizes and apologizes for Mr. ******* frustration during the construction of his Lake House. We do agree that there have been some recent delays due to disagreements regarding materials and design build, as well disputes over ‘Scope of Work’ changes throughout the contract. We have consistently had multiple sub-contractors working at this job site in order to finish this project that was originally started by a previous company.

Our company is actively addressing all remaining projects at Mr. ******* Lake House, and, in order to encourage communication. we are very open to arranging a walk through the jobsite so that any concerns can be directly assessed and completed.

Mr. ******* Lake House is very close to completion and our company is very anxious to continue working with him on establishing a clear perspective in reaching this goal.

      Sincerely,

      Appelman Construction, LLC
