I first saw ***** in June 2022 through my EAP (Employee Assistance Program). She was helpful and saw me through some tough times. I saw her a total of 7 times. In January 2024 I received a collections notice from a FCR Services claiming I owe $315 + $30 fee to Inspiring Hope Counseling Services. I attempted to contact Inspiring Hope's office to resolve the matter and I did not receive any response or explanation for the charge. I began the dispute process with FCR Services to request details regarding the supposed money owed. I then contacted my EAP to confirm if claims were paid in 2022 and they confirmed the claims were received and immediately denied because they were not billed correctly. Inspiring Hope did not contact my EAP to attempt to resolve this issue until December 2023--more than a year after my last visit. The amount that was sent to collections doesn't align with the cost of 7 visits, the cost of 1 visit, or any variation otherwise. My EAP confirmed every visit's claim was $150 per visit and the collections form is for $315 + $30 fee. I am submitting this claim as I'm now going through a dispute process with the collections agency and trying to resolve what is ultimately bad office management on Inspiring Hope's part. At minimum, I would expect Inspiring Hope to remove this collections claim from my name, but at most a formal apology and assurance that they'll resolve their bad office practices.
