            On Oct. 11, this husband and wife team came to my home and gave me a quote for purchase and installation of window coverings. Their policy was to pay in advance, or they would not order. I paid for the merchandise, and also for the installation. I was promised delivery by Thanksgiving 2021. It has now been 5 months, and the installer for this business refuses to communicate with me. He said just sue him, he plans on doing nothing. I sent him a text and letter affirming his actions. The amount of money they took was nearly $6000. I am retired, on a fixed income, yet apparently has no intention of resolving this issue - I don't have my window coverings, and he is keeping all of my money.

            In Nov. 2021, we ordered plantation blinds. They required almost all the money down. I gave her almost $4000 check which she immediately took a picture of it placing it in her bank. It is March, and her husband and son will not take our calls or texts. She has died but they refuse giving us our money back. We have no blinds, service, or returned money. Her son told us in Jan. that his mother had Covid; however, he said he did not know what he would do about returning our money or giving us our plantation shades. He would call us the following day. No calls, no texts, and all phone numbers state the number has not set up an answering box to leave message. I have sent text but nothing. The lady did die Feb. 14 but still no blinds, money or calls. I filed a complaint with Kentucky's Attorney General and it has been over a month and no correspondence has been sent to them from Custom Shutters and Blinds. They did not have a business in a building but they ran their business from their home....which I was shocked to discover. I wonder how many they have done this to. We are in our 70s and that is a lot of money for us to lose.
