I took my grandson's ****** ****** to have the windows tinted and the front windshield tinted 50% on April 18, 2022 we went back that afternoon to pick the car up the front windshield was cracked I went back in and talk to the receptionist at the desk she didn't admit they broke it or anything but it was not broke when we took it there. She did tell me over the phone that they put the tint on the front window and they took it back off because they didn't like how it looked. I have talked to the receptionist several times , I don't know what her name is she said the windshield was on back order but has not give me a date when they were going to fix it if they actually were going to fix it then a guy name ****** texted me said he was one of the owners he was sorry what happened to my windshield but he's working on it so I texted him back and told him can you give me a timeline when you're going to fix my windshield and he doesn't text me back I called him, no answer. I told the receptionist why couldn't they get ******** glass replacement to replace my window and she said we don't go through ******** the owner has a friend that deals in windshield glass and I guess they were gonna have him replace the windshield. I called and talked to the receptionist but she can't give me a date on when they're gonna replace my windshield or if they're even going to replace my windshield and I feel like I just keep getting the runaround so if you can help me I really appreciate it . I charged $143.10 on my credit card April 18 for the window tint.Customer response

I stopped by Unique Mobile Detail today. He said verbally over the phone on May 3 that if went thru ******** auto to get my windshield replaced he would pay for it. I got my windshield Replaced on May 16th. Wrote him a letter and attached my receipt to it. I never got a response from him. I would call the shop no answer, call his cell, no answer, I would leave a message and I would never get a call back. He was avoiding me.
I stopped by his shop on May 23. We had words. He said they looked back thru the tape and couldn’t find where my window got broke. Well, I said it got broke someway. I felt like he was blaming me for it. He didn’t much let me talk or want to hear my side or my feelings about this issue. He is not a good business owner.. in my opinion if that were my business, I would not have let that person left my shop that day until I resolved the issue. I think he doesn’t know how to handle issues. He did make the comment that he didn’t wanna deal with it. I guess that’s why he kept putting me off. He offered me $200 out of $437.80, which he said that was all I was going to get.. i just went on and took it because he was not going to reason or listen to anything I said. No, I’m not satisfied with the outcome. He should have been a man and paid the full amount. He should have taken responsibility for what happened In his shop. Looking back now I should have taken him to small claims court.. I’m honest and try to do right in life, but when you come across people like that, it’s just hard to trust anyone.
Thank you for your time and your help. I really appreciate it. I will never go back there again and NO I would not recommend his business to anyone. He is self centered and greedy.
