On april 12, 2022 i took my 2013 ****** ***** to JDs auto repair to have the front struts, axel and sway bar links replaced. The estiment was for $1,150. Around 3 pm that day i received a call from JDs auto telling me that my car would not be ready to pick up until later on the next day because they were having some problems with the struts. That they had put the struts on and they were to big. He said"when i let the car down i seen right off that they were the wrong size for that ******." I was told that they were going to find the struts and put then on at a later date. I picked my ****** up around 10 pm and when i took off my car was wobbling and the noise was not right. Me and my son drive home and parked it. We were both scared that the wheels were going to fall off. JDs dont open on friday so i had to wait until. Monday to tell them what was going on with my car. When i called they said to bring it in and they would fix it, my boyfriend left it, picked it up that night and and the car was worse. Felt like my front end was falling and a flat tire.i took my car back and had the owner drive it and my boy friend and i road. He stated that something was wrong and he was going to fix it. Hw said he was going to take it to to douglas tire and have alignment done and c if they knew what it could be. When my boyfriend went to drop it off they was really rude and told him they couldnt get to it today and not sure when they would. He got the keys back and told them we was calling BBB.my recepit has $720 , they charged the organization $1,150. They charged for the struts that was never replaced. I have been for iver 2 weeks not able to drive my car. My car was fine and running good until i droped it off. Just was starting to feel bumps harder. My children depend on me to be able to transport them and keep them safe. JDs put me and my children in unsafe car. I dont have the money to take it anywhere else. I have missed work from not having a way. I still owe $8000 on it.

In Response to above complaint. The above mentioned vehicle did in fact come to JDs Auto Repair on April 12, 2022. After inspection of the vehicle it was determined the the repairs needed were Front Struts (both left and right), Axle Assembly (front right), and sway bar links (front left and right). JDs Auto Repair ordered three (3) different front strut types and brands, none of the ones we ordered would work with the customers vehicle. The Axle and the sway bar links were installed and the customers was advised that the parts we ordered were not compatible with her car and we recommended that she contact the dealership to see if they could possibly order them.
On April 14, 2022, the customer brought the vehicle back to us with another complaint, stating the vehicle still had an issue, we inspected the vehicle again to determine that the Axle Assembly on the Front Left also needed to be replaced. And the Front Struts still needed to replaced. We replaced the Left Front Axle for customer at NO CHARGE.
The customer did on fact bring the car back to us on Monday, April 18, 2022. We again inspected the vehicle, test drove the vehicle to determine that the issue was still It needs Front Struts.
The customer had stated that she could not afford the repairs to her vehicle from the very 1st time it had come to our shop. She applied for funds through the **** program and those funds were approved to us. We sent the Invoice to **** and the payment for vehicle was hand delivered to JDs Auto Repair. The Invoice sent to them was for $720.74. Im sure they have a copy of the invoice showing the work that was done and the total amount.
Im sorry that the customer was no satisfied, as we strive to make sure every customer is happy with their work upon completion.
However, if there are still things that need to be repaired and you do not have the funds to pay for those parts, there is not a whole lot we can do to fix it. And as far as giving your money back... It was'nt / is'nt you money to give back to you.

The front end of my car is messed up completely I took took it to another auto repair shop and had to pay to get the axles replaced because the parts on the vehicle that was replaced by JD's Auto was faulty actual actual *** the axle fell apart while ******* ***** was removing the axle the car is in worse shape than when I brought it in to JD's Auto Repair the whole front end is making a crazy noise it's not from the struts tell him that when they replace the axles and never replace the transmission fluid and the transmission fluid was empty from where they had allowed it to drain out while replacing the axles and not refill it because the fluid itself is 20 to $30 a quart I never said I wanted their money replace back to me I said I wanted their money replace back to them and my money replaced back to me from having to pay another auto repair shop do halfway get my car back on the road the steering in my car is not right it's real tight when you move to the right hey that's fine you move to the left and it wants to float I don't feel that you all do business in a professional way and I've heard nothing but bad from other people that's had their cars done there since this problem has occurred
