Recently purchased a 2023 Chevrolet Suburban From Neil Huffman Chevrolet Frankfort. Test drove the car an agreed on a price of $52,250 which included changing the cloth seats to leather seats. A $500.00 deposit was given on a credit card to hold the car and credited back to the card when final payment was made. Went to pickup the car on March 24th and upon inspection found a chip in the windshield that definitely was not there on the test drive. We immediately brought this to the salesman attention. ( **** ****** ) While waiting to complete the paperwork I inquired several times about what was going to be done to fix the windshield and each time was told don't worry about we will take care of it. Before we completed the title process I was told to call Safelite auto glass when I got home and they would repair the chip. I asked for PO# and was told the repair would be free. When I called Safelite the next day they told me that I would have to turn it in on my insurance and 'gave me an estimate to repair of $183.36 and replacement of $993.80. I immediately called Huffman ( **** ****** ) and let them know what I had been told. At that point they told me that they would not pay for any repair. I have made numerous calls to the general manager (***** **********) but he has refused my calls and refuses to return my calls. They have since offered me $100 but will take no responsibility for the repair. To turn a claim in to my insurance company prior to taking title would clearly be considered insurance fraud. In addition to the windshield issue they still have not credited the $500 back to my credit card even after a reminder to do so on March 24th. (***** *********). I have made every effort to bring this deplorable customer service issue to Huffman's Corp. office but like the dealership no return call. For clarity, the person that told us that Safelite would repair the damage for free was the sales manager. (***** ******) .Business Response

I bought a truck from Neil Huffman Chevrolet in Franfort, KY, on January 8th of this year for over $31,000. By May 31st, I noticed a shutter in it. This was after putting less than 3,400miles on it. My local dealership diagnosed it needing a new transmission ($9500). I sent 5 messages to the dealership asking for a COPY of the warranty that was included. The last being an email to the GM (*****). The finance manager called me a couple of days later and said it was a 90-day warranty, i explained that i thought i remembered the salesman saying it was a 4,000-mile warranty. To this day, I still haven't gotten a copy of the warranty as I originally asked for. I emailed the GM (*****) back and informed him of the issue with the truck to see what they may be able to do to assist with repairs. He responded by saying they could help with labor costs.I asked him for a price that the transmission would be and said he would have his service manager get back with me on a price.Over 2 weeks later, and I've heard nothing. Even at me covering just the transmission, it's ludicrous to have to spend that amount of money on repairs after 3,400 miles. When I first inquired about the vehicle, I asked if the vehicle had preventative maintenance done on the transmission, and they replied, "This truck has gone through an inspection and is ready to be sold, and has been very well maintained." I asked for the previous owners contact info and told "he was a friend of the owners, and he didn't want his info given out."They went on to say we could do a conference call with him when I arrived at the dealership. After looking at the truck, I proceeded to ask for the conference call, and they informed me he didn't answer. After waiting there for a while for him to call back to no avail, I decided to move forward with the purchase. I've now had to sell the vehicle at a loss after only 6 months of ownership due to the cost of the needed repairs.I expected more from a dealership with the Huffman name.Business Response

On 9-4-23 I purchased a 2018 Mazda CX-3 from Neil Huffman Chevrolet in Frankfort, Ky. Vehicle was listed as a local trade in with no issues. Two days before the temporary tag was to expire I still had not received the title and registration. The dealership stated that there was an issue at the courthouse, but they had the permanent license plate at the dealership. My wife picked up the plate, but did not receive title or registration and noticed the registration sticker expired on 12-23, making it only legal for 2 months. December came and passed and we still have not received title or registration for the vehicle. After speaking with a member of the dealership on 1-17-24, I was advised that the issue in titling and registering the vehicle is that the mileage recorded when the vhicle was last registed exceeded the mileage recorded when they sold the car to me. I continue to call their title and registration dept. with no answer or reply to my messages. During this 5 month period the dealership has reached out to me zero times to resolve this issue. This is unacceptable as the vehicle I purchased for over 18,000 is not legal to drive, is not legally in my name, and now may have a mileage discrepancy drastically reducing the value of the car. Federal law states that and titling issues such as a mileage discrepancy and brand must be disclosed prior to sale and a disclosure must be signed. No such issue was disclosed to me at any time.Business Response

I bought a 2023 Buick trade it in 2013 Ford F150 king ranch, low miles supposedly got $19,000 for my truck when all said and done the price of the new car was $26,722.74 from that they took Kentucky’s sales tax showed how much I had to pay on sales tax then took that money and deducted from my 19,000 which ended up being $17,925. Then they took the price off the car which end up being $8797.74 and now the Kentucky sales tax is $497.86 and told me they save me money by not having to pay the full price of the sales tax. Their excuse was if I didn’t have a trade-in I would’ve had to pay the full sales tax on the $26,000 car and now they save me money. It is either they cheated the IRS out of money or they cheated me andBusiness Response

I bought a new 2019 Chevy Silverado from Mr. Huffman car lot in Frankfort, Ky 40601 in February of 2020. They sold me a Eckbond paint warranty on this Vehicle. I have an issue with the paint around six months ago and they are telling me the Eckbond will not cover the issue with the paint because it was caused by Tree Sap being left on the Truck to long butt there are other issues with the paint. They also called and Talk to GM about the paint and they told them is been too long. The Truck is still under factory warranty today. They do promote this product on YouTube. When they sold me this product they said they would take care of this product warranty if I had any issues with it.Business Response
