I had a problem starting my ***** 2002 **** truck. I asked Good year to change the spark plugs, spark plug wires and O2 sensor. On 5/17 I dropped off my truck at Goodyear. On 5/19 I called them and they said the truck would not take a jump. I went over there and in a few minutes jumped it with my car. On 5/20 they worked on it. They did as I asked. Then after that they said it still would not start and the oil pressure sensor needed to be replaced for an addition cost of $150. I knew the oil pressure gage was not reading correctly so I agreed. I picked the car on 5/23. They said the truck still would not start without a jump and I was OK with that at the time. The invoice number “*********” was for $538.90. I paid that. I noticed they did not charge me for the oil pressure sensor. The truck was much harder to start then normal and made a grinding sound that it had never made before when it did start. I drove it to my house. When I got home I attached my car computer reader (***** **** **** ****9) to my truck. First thing I noticed is that it asked for trucks make, it had never done that before. Second thing I noticed there was a “cam shaft crank shaft error”. This error was never there before. I researched what they had done to the truck. I found out that to replace the oil sensor you had to take out the whole distributor. The distributor touches the cam shaft crank shaft assembly. It is my belief that they messed up the crank shaft cam shaft. You would probably need to replace the motor to fix this. By not charging me for this and doing something they should not have to the car computer (the computer not knowing what make it is) they tried to cover this up. I later called and spoke to the owner. He first denied looking at the oil pressure sensor, and then latter admitted they looked at it but said someone had replaced it with a new one. I know this is not the case. He refused the fix the problem without charging me more money. I refused to pay any more money.
