On October, 13th 2023 I went to Big O tires and had four wheels put on my 2016 ram 1500. It took 2 hours and managers came out and said sorry for it taking so long and assured me everything was good and vehicle was ready to go. I jumped in my truck and drove around the corner. I went to turn right and the tire fell off and went straight towards oncoming traffic. My truck hit hard on the pavement and came to a complete stop. I ran back to the business and told them what happened. They came our with a floor jack and put tire back on and the manager drove it back to the business. They have had the vehicle for a month now and told me it was fixed and good to go. When I went to the body shop to pick up because cosmetic work was done, it had loud knocking coming from the engine. The truck shut off after it wouldn't shift into 2nd gear. I called the company back and told them what happened and got a tow truck to take my vehicle back. Now they are telling me sounds are from wear and tear and might not be from the incident. I explained it was running smooth and noise free and now they are asking me to take it to my own mechanic shop to do a diagnostic on it due to them not having a mechanic shop in their system near by. I cannot get a rental from them due to them needing a diagnostic still and I am still without my truck and it not being fixed. All of this after I paid over $900 for all tires.Initial Complaint

On August 20, 2022, I brought my 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT for an Oil change and replace the steering rack, as an earlier visit they deemed it needed to be replaced. (it had actually been leaking badly) I showed up around 10am Central time, and the vehicle was pulled into the bay at 11:15am. The "Technician" drained the oil, installed the oil filter provided to them by me (K&N P/N HP-2006) the vehicle sat for 7 hours before management informed me they were sorry it had taken so long, as the "tech" was unsure of what he was doing, The "tech" ended up breaking the upper ball joint, and other suspension components, failed to tighten every bolt down, and neglected to put new oil back in the vehicle. Contact was initiated with corporate office, I have spoken to ****** ***** (District Manager) he informed me that they would be refunding the money ($1499.84) as long as I sign a waiver of liability release, I e-signed the document on 8/30 with Mr. ***** ****** signing about 12 days later. On 9/23 Mr. ***** had contacted me, after a status check on the refund, he maintained that the check would be here and if not, to contact him, and he would provide tracking #, I had called his number the following Monday, and Tuesday, he did not answer, I sent him a text message, he never replied. a week from the final conversation with Mr. *****, I have attempted to contact Big O to escalate the issue to someone higher than Mr. *****, as he was no longer returning calls or messages. At the time of this writing, I have not heard from anyone from Big O Tires since September 23, 2022, despite attempts to escalate the issue higher than Mr, *****.Business response

We have resolved the issue that Mr. ******** brought forward. Please see attached as we provided Mr. ******** with a full refund for the services provided. Mr. ******** also signed a release of liability. If there are any further questions Please let us know.
