Two undamaged radios, an RCI 2970 and Galaxy DX88HL, undamaged and in working order were went for upgrades and adjustments. They were not packaged properly resulting in exterior damage to the RCI 2979 and internal damage to the Galaxy 88 that it did not have when it was shipped to them. He offered to repair the Galaxy 88 for free upon return. As he placed a tamper proof label on the Galaxy 88 stating this equipment is under warranty as long as label is not removed, I did not open/tamper with the radio and returned it for repair. He refuses to work on it until he has time after Any future paying jobs/repairs. Since then I've made several inquiries but he says he has not had a break from paying jobs yet so keep waiting and he promises in an email that he will fix it when he can and to be patient, which I have. About 9 months have passed in total and about two months have passed since our last contact. I have not heard from them since my last inquiry, as usual, not honoring his written word nor their warranty. I assume what ever the warranty is, it will expire soon. The radio has been in his possession ever since it was returned, I had no way of knowing of the internal damage to the radio for 2 month as I was without the proper power supply to operate/check it. As soon as I was able to acquire the proper power supply I checked it promptly and discovered that it no longer operated as it did when I sent it to them and in fact it had 3 or 4 issues it never had before. I assumed it was from being beat against the other radio in return shipping. As only the RCI 2970 sustained external damage and it still worked properly, except for 1 issue it did not have before, and the Galaxy had no external damage, I thought it may still be in working order but it was not. He stated he believes I damaged it somehow and thus made the statement about when he will fix it. Apparently that will hot happen.
