I am so outraged at what just happened. I recently made a purchase there and on this purchase we used an EBT card and six dollars in cash. It was already very late they were fixing to close. The total transaction came up to $43 and change but I had to use six dollars cash and pay the rest on an EBT card. The cashier failed to put the info in correctly and it charged the EBT card the six dollars and then the remaining balance as well. The balance was paid, but they kept the six dollars and when I reported it they refused to give me the six dollars back even though it was rightfully mine telling me she was only five dollars over that is all she could give me. Mind you my purchase was paid for. I should have gotten the full six dollars back. Not to mention we were treated poorly when we reported this. That money was rightfully ours. They had no rights whatsoever, keeping it even if it was only a dollar it’s about principal. They have several hidden fees when you go through their check out and no one ever says anything but I’m tired of the working class having to suffer because of businesses and their greed. The workers there are highly unprofessional and very rude. Not one of them are easy to work with. Normally I wouldn’t bother making a report but this has happened multiple times there. Not the same exact situation but the fact I had all of my receipts, and could show where they charged the EBT card and actually owed me back six dollars. It’s very unprofessional and unconstitutional.
