On October 5th we paid $73 to Hillbillies sanitation for trash pick up for the months of October, November and December. Next bill due January 5th. Our trash was not picked up on December 26th, later that day the company announced on ******** they would not be picking up trash for Monday pick ups until January 2nd. I posted on Facebook asking for a pick up service as we cannot go 2 weeks without trash at holidays and The company immediately messaged me and said they would pick up on the 2nd. Then on the 2nd our trash was not picked up again so I messaged the company and she told me it's because her husband and father in law got their feelings hurt because they seen my post and I was looking for another service so they refuse to pick up. We would like a refund for the 2 weeks that was prepaid but our trash was not picked up. I have receipts with dates paid by us and I also have screenshots of my conversations with ******** **** on Hillbillies page.Business response

On January 3rd We refunded ****** **** for the 2 weeks she wasn’t picked up. The reason she wasn’t picked up on December 26th was due to the winter storm and the temperatures being cold. We felt it was hazardous for us to be on the roads. She did not understand that and she got rude and then went to ******** to downgrade our business and to find a new trash company. As for January the 2nd we felt since she was so mad at us because of the winter storm causing us not to be able to pickup trash on December 26th and her down grading our business that we would refund her 2 weeks and part ways. We want our business to grow and thrive and try to keep our customers happy and at the same time keep ourselves safe and healthy during the winter months. So we use our best judgment to determine if we can or cannot run our routes during or after a winter storm.
