On September 4th 2023, my husband and I went to visit Tim Short Chrysler LLC to test drive a 2017 Mazda CX-9 Sport they had posted on the CarGurus. We had decided to purchase this vehicle if the test drive went good. Once we arrived at the location we went straight to the Mazda and checked it out. We was approached by a salesman named **** ****. We asked to test drive the vehicle and he informed us that we could that he needed to grab the keys and get our license. We did a test drive and decided this was the vehicle we wanted to purchase. Once we made it back to the dealership we informed **** we would like to begin the purchase. We went to his office and discussed some numbers. I informed him we would be financing and I wanted to trade my current vehicle in as a down payment. They calculated the numbers informed us of what the payments would be and almost everything was completed but they needed a few more papers and they said the banks was closed, so we was informed to gather the paperwork and once we had done that we was told the vehicle would be delivered to our home and they would pick up the trade. Tuesday the 5th we completed the loan agreement and all that was needed to finish the transaction was delivery of the vehicle. **** stated they was going to do an oil change and fill it with gas then deliver it. That evening around 4:30pm **** called me to tell me the vehicle was overheating and they were going to fit it. I was told it was a thermostat issue and it would be fixed. I waited until September 14th to be told that the new thermostat didn’t fix the issue, that it seems like it is going to be too expensive to fix. To find another vehicle. The issue I have with all of this is #1 they still have the vehicle posted for sale on their website even though it’s overheating. #2 we had our credit ran for this vehicle, which caused a lower score and now higher interest rates for a different vehicle. #3 they haven’t gave any effort to making things right.
