I think these folks are superior bait-and-switch operators ... their marketing campaigns are professional, their styling and photography quite excellent. They're really great at promoting fashion that unsuspecting people will order in anticipation of receiving something that bears a resemblance to the garment they've seen on the website. i'm not talking about color variations, though those are plentiful. No I speak of measurements that can't be trusted and are all over the board, for instance a XXL that wouldn't fit a size S, or a 5XL that's too small to fit a 2X. Clearly this *************** figured out that 1) most people won't go to the trouble to return the shoddy garments they receive, 2) most people WILL ORDER because of their **** address, where 3) a Chinese business origin will likely prompt someone NOT to order. They've also figured out how to market to westerners, how to beautifully style and photograph attractive models, but the fabrics used to fulfill the garment pictured on their website is NOT AT ALL what is pictured. While they've also figured out not to show too many sides or permit close-up/zooms for a prospective buyer to look closer at the fabric appearance, they seem simply incapable of fulfilling an order with the garment one purchases. Lengths of garments are off by many inches, be it inseam or hemline, shoulder to hem or sleeve length. Width of garments are off by several inches, bust measurements completely unreliable and the fabrics used are incredibly cheap. Not inexpensive, but CHEAP. We're talking things that won't make it through a single wash cycle, much less be able to be worn more than once. Fabrics aren't color safe and fade, pill and pull easily. Their polyester utilized for 'satin' or 'silky' feeling robes isn't fit to use as wrapping paper (and that's the closest thing its fit for). This isn't the first time I've ordered from AnnieCloth, having forgotten my previous experiences, but its the first that I was able to retain one item by choice that fit well and will work to wear for painting. I'm forced to keep several other items that aren't eligible for return (apparently) because they were on clearance, though given the opportunity I'd send them back. I probably will regardless of not being able to be refunded because I'd be embarrassed donating them. It's a really sad state of affairs when a company goes to great lengths, as does Anniecloth.com to fool customers. Shame on them. And Buyer, beware ... when a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is!
