04/24/2023 I went to retrieve my vehicle after repairs were made. I made both claim through my insurance but once claim was selfpay since the insurance company sent my the check. On top of the self pay claim I requested my passenger side front light replaced since it was slightly dimer due to it being a cheaper bulb compared the factor one on the driver side. I was given an additional estimate for this by phone on 04/03/23, after I initially dropped my vehicle off earlier that day. My light was properly functioning when it arrived at Hadawreck Body shop, and at no point while they had my vehicle did any one contact me to say that the light was malfunctioning or that the replacement could not be made. When I went to retrieve my vehicle on 04/24/23, and after making my full payment I turn my vehicle on. I decided to do a final check before leaving the parking lot, and noted that the passenger side front light was not on but the driver side light was on. I went back in and informed the customer service representative, at which time I was informed that the service that i paid for already was never performed. Then they proceeded to tell me that the light must have waited until it got to them to malfunction, which was far from the truth. Since I have the my Cadillac app which typically would informed me prior to this if there was any specific issues with lighting on my car and it never did, but according to them this issue was present when they received my car. I informed them that I have never had issue with the light and the replacement was only requested for cosmetic purposes, and the light was functioning properly when it arrived at their business.Business response

We did take care of Mr ******.’s issue. We immediately took Mr ******’s vehicle to the dealership to have the headlight issue diagnosed. We did replace the headlight in the initial repairs. The OEM headlight that we purchased and installed in Mr ******’s vehicle was a bad part according to the OEM dealer so they were able to swap it out for us. The vehicle was ready for pickup the next day. Mr ****** picked it up a few days after it was ready. This situation doesn’t happen often but occasionally we purchase new OEM parts that are bad from the factory, unfortunately this is out of our control. Our main goal is to satisfy all our customers with great quality repairs to their vehicles. We apologize that this happened but the issue was resolved immediately.
