    to the shop in georgetown ky, these people are crooks! i spent $969.00 in feb. this year car is doing the same thing they will not honor their warranty without wanting me to spend another 250 to run some b******* test that has nothing to do with what they repaired! this is the shop at 310 connector road

    the customer is incorrect on all 3 statements made. we are not crooks; a person who is dishonest or a criminal. We were honest with the customer on March 9, 2023 about her vehicle concerns that she, the customer, "vehicle will not start but all dash lights come on and will randomly click when trying to start or do nothing at all" The findings by our experienced technicians were ": found that the starter is good when following the wiring diagram traced back to the neutral safety switch when checking wires there found that the connector and the switch itself has an excessive amount of corrosion built up in it and we would recommend replacing the switch and connector " The customer was called by our office staff where this was explained to her with a cost, that she then approved before a repair began, that is our policy; to seek customer approval first. When the customer returned 12/11/23 her concerns were different " Vehicle will not start". This concern shows the vehicle had zero power unlike her first visit in March which proves to be satisfactory since she returned for more automotive help. After a free 15-minute inspection, to check connections, wires and power, we asked for testing time because or staff does not work for free. Doing so prevents us from doing our job correctly since we do not guess or throw parts at cars. We do proper and efficient testing to determine the best recommendation of repair for the customer's wallet all while maintaining customer satisfaction. The customer was then unhappy and resorted to BBB for free mediation. As you can see by the customer's exact comments I provided in quotations, the issues were NOT the same as she stated in this complaint nor did the customer provide any truths to her statement. Thank You for your time. Customer is free to seek legal counsel that will require her to not only pay her own legal fees, but the fees of KD Auto Repair as well, that reads on every invoice; printed, text. or emailed. We do not plan to respond to another BBB complaint where this customer is concerned. She may exercise her right to utilize her nationwide warranty, adding that it will only cover exact repairs by an affiliate shop, that will require proper testing for a diagnosis.
