Covert Cameras have had issues since the time I purchased them. I have constantly had issues with receiving pictures etc. Over the last year, I had a camera that I initially paid $375.00 for, break the display screen. When I called in, they opened up a repair ticket, and said they were waiting for new screens, but I could send it in and wait for them to come in. In the mean time, they sold me me a new one, at a very slight discount. The new camera I got immediately broke when I tried to tighten it to a tree. I decided to pay $30.00 shipping and send the old camera back, and once they received, they immediately said they were not getting any more screens and couldn't fix it. I let them know the new one I bought, also broke, and they said I could pay shipping to get that repaired, but they wouldn't do anything for the old camera, but send it back. I told them to send it back, on June 13th, but never received it. Their only remedy was to sell me another new camera. I feel like as expensive as these are, and the fact that I pay a monthly subscription, they should provide a better quality product, and not continue to cost me money to use them. I also had my recent camera alert me that it was located in ********* **, about 5 hours from my current location, and after calling in, we thought it was stolen. I drove almost 2 hours in each direction to go check on my cameras, and found it still there. The tech let me know it was glitch in their towers/GPS, and that they don't actually have GPS on their cameras as they advertise. This overall experience has been terrible, and no one at Covert has any desire to remedy this. I should have been sent a new camera, when they immediately break, and not have to be without the camera for 2 months, and pay a shipping fee, due to their poor quality. Buyers should be aware of the overall poor quality of this product, and their customer service team. They do not stand by their product, or have a reliable product.Initial Complaint

Last Nov I bought a Covert cell camera. After spending a month on the on the phone trying to get it to work they told me there was nothing else they could do. So I gave up. Tried the camera again this year and still it does not work. After 2 days on the phone they tell me to ship it back it has a bad sim card. Why wasn't this addressed a year ago? Then they want me to pay to have it shipped back. I just want a refund of the money I spent on the camera $70 and the cellular plan $8. I have another brand of cameras and do not have nay issues.Customer Answer

Bought two cameras they were good first year so happy I bought three more following year last year And last year constant problems constantly paying subscription fee constantly buying more batteries to put into cameras constantly calling and asking for help complaining constantly doing everything they ask downloading new firmware nothing works finally got them to take them back this spring they went through it all them and sent back one of the cameras takes pictures in a minute *** two of the cameras take tens of thousands of pictures within a couple days destroying hundreds of dollars of batteries multiple times still paying subscription fees at this point I am obviously not happy with the product they have asked if I send them back to them again to get fixed I'm tired I'm exhausted running back and forth to *** is expensive gas between the cameras the subscription fees all the batteries I keep buying that it destroys I'm well past $1,000 or more not to mention wasted time of no deer pictures wasted time of no deer pictures all last season I would trade $1,000 in in a heartbeat for the pictures that should have came or Taken I'm a businessman my time is valuable I've wasted lots of time with these cameras I do not want to Replacements from them something just not right with the system we have done everything possible bought the suggested cards that should work better we have very good internet and phone capabilities in our area so none of that's the problemCustomer Answer

I own my own successful business my time is very valuable so dealing with with the situation over the past 12 plus or minus month if I was keeping track is very expensive in short I do not work for covert scouting cameras as they have asked me time and time again to do this this and that for them to fix these problems I have spent many hours especially last year trying to fix these problems last year waiting on the phone for hours and hours trying to get through doing what they said never did they say they had issues with SD cards they now know this is a problem so they have wasted my time my time is very valuable once again I do not work for Culvert scouting cameras so therefore I'm done doing what they say they are not paying me to do their work they are not paying me to drive all the way to *** Store they are not paying me to sit on phone for hours and hours trying to fix their problems that don't work I can clearly put a bill together for all of my time and my hours to fix the problems that don't work with their product **** ************Initial Complaint

My wife bought me 2 covert Cameras for Christmas. They have been trouble since day 1 . I have reached out to Covert and talked to an "*****" and she said they were not working properly because they are 4G and everything turning 5G. She said the memory cards need formatted. I did what she said and it still would not work . I messaged her back and she said they'd send an already formatted SD card for me to use and it would fix it. However, she never sent it. I have reached out to her on 3 more occasions and she ignores my email. I can't seem to get anyone to help me. I would never buy another Covert, you are better off buying a Tactacam.Business Response

I keep getting reoccurring charges for services I canceled months ago. I have multiple emails showing they responded in like but still continue to charge my CC.Business Response
