Planet Salon and Spa Beaumont is the worst salon Raychel is the worst hairdresser I've ever seen!! I showed her a picture and asked for balayage/ highlights with a money piece which is strands of highlights frame the face from ear to ear and I wanted few highlights to be high up to the roots on the crown of my hair. I wanted partial highlights nothing on the bottom layers. I didn't care how light the highlights would be but I don't want to leave with orange hair. I got nothing I asked for. No money piece to frame the face, no highlights close to the roots but 4-5 inches far! I have above shoulders hair length and more than half of my hair from the top has no highlights and the bottom layers! I was charged $198 and when I mentioned that I got nothing I asked for, Raychel snapped like she's making me a favor doing my hair for free!! And of course I left with fried damaged ORANGE HAIR after paying $25 EXTRA for toning!! On their website balayage cost 112-142$, but if they see you're a put together person they'll rip your pocket. I was charged $198 because the hairdresser lied that she'll use olaplex products to protect my hair!! They make you sign a paper prior to service, where it has your name date the amount they want to charge with no details or explanation, the service the hairdresser decided fit best. Also, your hair color level and what you should get. She lied and put my hair is level 3 which mean dark brown and my hair is level 4 or 5 clearly and it is my natural hair color. Then she put level 7 neutral as an expected result because I insisted and focused on that I don't want orange hair! The whole thing is a trap. I paid over $700 with in 5 months at this place (not including cash tips) yet the called me "a free service seeker"!! Go somewhere else.. you'll WASTE your TIME, MONEY & RUIN YOUR HAIR in this place. Horrifying experience!

      Planet Salon Response

It is unfortunate that we are having to respond to such an accusation as this, but here we are. We realize that there are two sides to every story, and its only fair that our side is heard as well. We live in a day and age where some people use social media outlets to cyber bully individuals and businesses. We always strive to have good customer service, even when we have done nothing "wrong". That is how this story started with this particular client. She was unhappy with a service she received. So in good customer service fashion, we offered her the same service again at no cost to her, plus an additional service. After receiving those service, she returned and was again "not happy" with her service. Now it just appears to be a pattern, especially considering we do use a consultation form to make sure our guests and staff are on the same page with cost and service expectations. Which she did sign prior to her service. During the service she started telling her stylist how to do her job, being very argumentative and loud, which other people witnessed. Then basically trying to change her mind about what she wanted. Her own description of "what she wanted" conflicts by definition. Balayage is a technique of doing Highlights off the root, several inches or more down (which was explained to her and that's what she wanted and chose) but then mentions wanting some up to the root. She also started saying this after the stylist already had her processing. Making a scene in front of everyone, trying to tell the stylist how to do her job because she watched a tutorial online. All of this, after also saying aloud, how she reems businesses online to get what she wants. It seems she was looking for something to complain about, possibly to get more free services. We don't know exactly what her end goal was, but she immediately took to social media to tell lies and try to ruin a person's livelihood and the livelihoods of everyone involved in our business. We will not be bullied by irrational people who hide behind keyboards...
