            ******* ******* owns Balling construction. He did not obtain a building permit when asked to do so. He also did not complete the job of my deck and patio to the described in the contract description. He has lied, twice regarding obtaining a building permit. He will not return phone calls or text messages. I have asked several times for him to come out and complete the work, he has failed to do this. The stairs are not completed. The stringers are incorrect, and there is a large gap children can fall through that would not meet code if inspected. I am asking him for an inspection. Also the drainage needs to be corrected to allow for water to be re-routed away from the retaining wall. Job start: January... It is now October.

            I contracted with Patrick Balling in May of 2022 to replace two retaining walls and put down pavers for the walkway from the driveway to the deck behind the house. He was not able to start the work until approx. September because he was backed up on several other obligations. When he finally started the work, he demo'd the existing retaining wall between our property and the neighbor's as well as a short retaining wall around a flower bed at the front of the house. He then started putting together the main retaining wall. Due to inclement weather he stopped work early in November and said he would be back in the Spring. Spring came but Patrick did not. I tried calling him and left multiple voicemails. I tried texting him and no reply. I tried emailing him and no reply. He has totally ghosted me. I now have to find some other contractor he will take over the job, fix stuff that was done incorrectly and complete the two walls and put down pavers for the walkway. IMHO, if you're considering this person, don't!!!
