Purchased a 2011 Chevy Camaro SS Convertible from them on June 10, 2023. The test drive was conducted with the top down. Couple of days later, noticed that the top was not going back up to where it was supposed to go. There is a huge gap between the weather stripping and the trunk that allows rain to get in. I have had it to a shop and they have confirmed that the top is malfunctioning. I bought the car as is, but was not given a heads up about the bad top, and the fact that I test drove with the top down proves they were trying to hide something. I wish they had have been forthright with me about the top instead of not mentioning it. I know it is an as is sell, but fill they shouldve been straight with me. It is going to cost me over $2000 just to have top disassembled to diagnose the problem. I dont want this to happen to anyone else.Business response

When this vehicle was on our lot and for sale we did not have any operational issues with the top. We had multiple customers test drive the vehicle without any issues or complaints. We do not keep convertibles on the lot with the top down as we do not want to expose the interiors to elements (weather, bird droppings, etc). My preowned manager has reached out to the customer and he was notified that the customer plans on having a friend/family member fix the top and we are sending the customer a check for $500 to compensate him for his issues. Attached you will find a copy of the check.
