1 star because my salesman and financing was awesome. Paul miller is definitely not the place to buy a car. Used car anyways. Their “180 point inspections” or what have you must consist of turning check engine lights off and calling them good and slapping some tire shine on them and sending them down the road. During my test drive of my 2016 Jeep wrangler (priced at $28,869 ish) the check engine light came on. Obviously startled by this because I loved the Jeep I wanted it to be known that the issue was on them if I decided to sign on this Jeep. They scheduled it for service the following week. My salesman was great, and still is, this is NOT his fault. The Jeep had two codes, one for a thermostat, one for a torque converter. When I took it in the following Monday they fixed the thermostat (the cheap repair) turned the check engine light off and called it good. I scanned the codes when I picked it up even though the light wasn’t currently present and that torque converter code was still there the thermostat code was not. I was told no worries bring it back we will take care of it. (2nd time to Paul miller service) this time they kept it for 4 days and then told me it was the torque converter (oh no figure) and told me to go to a Jeep dealership (third time to a shop in 2.5 weeks) and use my warranty (which I paid 3k for) and they would pay the deductible so I can get it repaired and they don’t have to fork money out. Benefits them, huh? Shady crook activity. I took it to Jeep where they told me my warranty wouldn’t cover $700 of the labor on a $3200 repair so I then reached out to Paul miller about this and have been ghosted by the mangers about covering this repair (that was present before I signed for the car) stupid me for signing, I know. Moral of the story, if you want to spend 30,000 on a vehicle, turn around and it need 4k worth of repairs (before you sign for it) Paul miller auto outlet may be for you. Otherwise I’d stay far away!
