I employed her because of her great reputation as a terrific divorce lawyer. She DID NOT let me make any comments of abuse or circumstances in the marriage in office or otherwise - stopping me any time i tried to tell her my case. She was rude to me while in office every time i was in there, and grossly overcharged me (adding that more money was needed later). I had given her almost every dime i had when her fee was well over $3000.00. She did not give one word in court preparation and when court came, she not only acted like the opposing attorney's best friend, she allowed the other attorney to try to play my (extreme) anxiety (that was caused by the ex's severe abuse) by putting me on the stand, yet didn't call my (ex) husband to the stand at all or ask 1 question. She acted visibly bored n annoyed to be there in court. A speculation question came up n i had to stop everything and look at her (while she looked at her fingernails not even paying attention) for a good 15 seconds when i should have just answered it. Yet every single question the other attorney asked to try to make me to look bad i said, "That's not true," and told the truth pertaining to all questions. The only trouble she took was to walk me out and with no words of encouragement for doing so well (without ANY help from her), n continued to show such a completely unprofessional attitude. If she didn't like me or want my case she should have told me right away but all i ended up doing was WASTING a large amount of money and wished I would never have listened to the person telling me how great she was. I hope no one darkens her door again. Once you commit, she will take your money with no refunds available - and tell you it isn't enough, and to bring her MORE. Scoville will SCREW YOU in court, and treat you like you are unimportant and just an annoyance. This isn't ALL her money grubbing and rude shenanigans, but it shows how she really is... she acted like my ex paid her off, and he probably did.
