      On 3/4/24 I called the rent office to see if my blinds could be replaced since they are old. They said I had to purchase my own and maintenance will put them up by the end of the week and a work ticket was made. It never happened so I called again the following week and was told they were short staffed and cannot get me until next week (the week of 3/20/24). I called today, and was told the same thing that they will not get to me and that I need to find someone else to put them up. Every time I have to get in contact with this office I am always having to ask for manager and nobody contacts me back. The lady that answers the phone states she has no way of finding my work ticket and basically I just need to wait. I only have 5 windows that are needing the change and I believe that they are always giving me a hard time ever since my son fell in a man hole on their property and has an open lawsuit against them. It has been issue after issue with these people. I also feel like it is a race thing as well. I pay over $1000 in rent and have to wait months to replace blinds that I bought for their property is draining me. I really hope this complaint sticks and their rating goes down because they do not know how to speak to people, or complete work tickets in order. I asked what number I was and was told that they have been putting others in front of me because they are having issues when I do not believe that.

      on 7/3/23 I noticed my air stopped working properly. on 7/4/23 I called the maintenance on call and was told I needed to contact the office. I contacted the lady who stated she put a call into the AC people around 11am. The rest of the day I did not hear anything and nobody answered calls for me. on 7/5/23 I called the office as soon as they opened and I am being told the office lady has to come "look" at my unit before they can call the AC people. My son and I both have asthma and it is 85 degrees in my house and they are not being professional. I asked to speak with sup at the office and she is refusing to take my call. I do not understand why an office worker would be the one to look at my ac, and if this is protocol, why didn't she come yday? I guess because of the holiday however, how hot it has been this would be considered an emergency and I was lied to about getting this resolved. This office is super rude to me every time I call and I believe it is from a lawsuit I have open due to them not fixing a giant hole on their property that my son fell in. I have had multiple issues with my air since I have been in this unit and I do not believe they are fixing the problem.

      Montgomery Realtors strives to treat all of our tenants in a professional manner.  Our service technician was called on 7/4/2023 and repaired on 7/5/2023.  The problem with the a/c was corrected in a timely manner.

      I’m having an issue with this business over my rent payments. I have paid on time since I’ve moved into their rental property which is The Country Acres Apartments located off of Breckinridge Lane. I mailed my money order in for $815.00 on April 27, 2022. Montgomery Realtors is saying they never received it and they didn’t notify me at all. They tried sending a certified letter to me which took them approximately 3 weeks after the fact. The certified letter however was never delivered by USPS nor was I notified that they was trying to get in contact with me about this missing payment. So here I am thinking that Montgomery Realtors received my money order as usual. So I went ahead like I normally do and paid rent for May on the 28th. Then yesterday I get a card on my door saying to give Montgomery Realtors a call about something important. That call was about this missing payment. The payment that I mailed out was somehow lost through USPS which isn’t my fault at all. So now Montgomery Realtors is trying to force me to pay them $300 for court fees & they want to send my money order for May back to me also. And then they stated that they want me to pay them late fees for 2 months which is absurd. I have the receipts for these 2 months in question, plus I went ahead and canceled the money order that is lost which cost me $15.00 to do. I’m hoping someone can help me resolve this issue with Montgomery Realtors immediately because I have **** and cannot be evicted over something that’s not my fault.

      ** *** fell in a Montgomery realtor manhole on the property we rent. He broke his leg. Ever since then I have ongoing issues with getting things fixed in my unit. I reported that the dryer did not work and an outside contractor came to my home at 8pm in the evening to clean it out. Still did not work. It took 3 weeks to get the same man back out but by the time he came the washer part also blew a fuse. He came and added the belt that did not help the dryer dry my clothes. ***** was going to give this outside contractor a key to my home to come and look at it in the evening without my permission. I advised them I do not feel comfortable giving out my key and also asked the man to come during business hours. his excuse is he has other jobs so I have to wait. I never have a set appt time it is always a call stating I am 30 mins away. My doorbell does not work and I was told they will not fix it and did not give me any reason why. All other units have working doorbells and this is a 2 story unit so the doorbell is needed. I also asked for a printout of my payments and I was told by ***** they are doing year end and all computers are occupied so they will not be able to provide me with the receipt. I needed the receipt for rental assistance help so them slowing that down may cause a delay in getting help due to being off work for dealing with ** ***s broken leg. The ladies at the office has their nose stuck up and do not listen at all! I have had maintenance men just walk in my home while im in the shower. I do not deserve to be treated as such.

      The issues with the washer and dryer have been resolved.  The work was done by an independent contractor and we have no control over when and how he schedules with the residents. We never enter any resident’s unit without their permission.  An electrician has been called to check out the non-working doorbell.  She was provided a copy of her payments in a timely manner.  This resident receives the same level of service as all of our tenants.
