      I scheduled my truck to be detailed on Tuesday May 30, 2023 at Timmy’s auto detail owned by ******* I was told it would be $300 because I had break dust build up behind the rims and was promised for it to be completely cleaned once done. After paying $50 to secure my appointment I was told I would get a call the day of my appointment for a drop off time. I missed a call Saturday May 27, 2023 and called back 5 mins later with no answer. Monday was Memorial Day. On Tuesday May 30, 2023 the day of the appointment still no call! I arrived at the shop at 11am and was told I “should’ve arrived at 8am” I explained that I was never informed on what time, the worker stated he “will put an extra person on the truck and get it done right”. Upon arriving 15 mins earlier than expected no employees were working on the truck. I immediately saw the still very present break dust that was promised would be removed, other parts of the truck was still dirty. I pointed these areas out to the workers and was told “the wheels need to be sprayed again on the inside”, they cleaned other areas that was pointed out but not all due to closing. I was told to speak with the owners wife for any compensation for the incomplete job. The owners wife only offered $75 off, because I didn’t drop it off at 8am and they “had to rush”. Again, I was never told 8am or offered to bring it another day, and not to mention no one was working on the truck when I showed up 15 mins early so it was not like they didn’t have enough time! They did a half job which deserved a half payment, because I was promised “all break dust and dirt would be removed!” I asked the owners wife if this job was worth $225, she replied “yes”.

      To whom it may concern:

      We take much pride in our work and unfortunately, there was some areas that the customer addressed when he arrived to pick up the vehicle, both our detailer and manager were working to address the issues with the customer.  Some of the pictures are areas that are not part of a detail.  We sincerely regret that the customer is not satisfied, customer believed the job was not worth the original agreed upon price so we did a billing adjustment by discounting the price by $75.00.  Again we regret and apologize that our customer was not satisfied and granted his wish by adjusting the balance that was due.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      I was told I was being charged $300 because they had to clean the break dust out of the rims, this was what made the price so high, therefore it was most definitely was included in the detail. I have pictures of the dirt that remained when I picked up the vehicle. The person that did the detail admitted the wheels needed to be cleaned again on the inside!

      What is the customer asking for?  The detail was priced at $300 and he paid $50 deposit, which left a $250 balance.  We adjusted the price by $75.00 with balance of $175.00 which he paid.

      I am rejecting this response because: The job performed was not worth $225 especially when the worker admitted it needed to be cleaned again. If you take pride in your work then why accept any money when the job was not done! The job should’ve been complete!! Also, I informed Dennis the owner that day that the truck was still dirty and instead of making it right he left. This is just not good customer service!
