Contracted ***** ***** the “owner” of the business Bluegrass Building Solutions LLC, to do a partial renovation of our basement & install a bathroom & a laundry room. The guy completely flaked on the deal after a month & stopped communicating with us entirely. The project was scheduled to be completed within 10-14 business days, yet he only showed up 3 times to work in a month & did about 8 hours of work in total within those 3 days. Mr. ***** made various excuses as to why he would never show up consistently & continue working on the project. Excuses ranging from having a staff infection, to sick children at home, you name it. We were told multiple times that Mr. ***** had a crew of workers at his disposal, yet Mr. ***** was the only person to ever show up to work the 3 days that he did. All of these issues started right after he was paid a deposit in order to start the job, which was mandated in our estimate. We are in the process of trying to get as much of a refund for our 50% up front deposit, in the amount of 5,400, however Mr. ***** flat out told us he was not going to refund our money to us even though he refused to finish the job & there was no verbiage of the deposit being non refundable in the contract. The bathroom is not even close to complete & the only thing Mr. ***** was able to do was lay wood on the ground & put up the skeleton of a wall in 1 small area. Would not recommend this business at all as it is completely untrustworthy.
