We have now used Steve on 2 projects given how pleased we were with the first one and were equally pleased with the second. The first project was a large first floor remodel to open up the floor plan and move our bathroom, the second a total renovation of our master bathroom. I couldn’t speak more highly of Steve’s professionalism, approach, and communication throughout the project. He is very thorough and detailed during the planning process which really limited the surprises and Steve stays pretty much on the dot on the expected costs. Lastly, I was impressed with the progress of both projects and how closely to the time estimate Steve stayed. I will be using Steve again and would recommend him every time.Review from Myriam D

Neyer carpentry has done three beautiful jobs for us. Each time the workmanship was exquisite. I would recommend them to my closest friends. Their attention to detail is hard to find these days.

I hired Neyer Elite to completely renovate my house. The price of the renovation was $258,000. After 18 mnths and I had paid Neyer Elite the balance that was owed on the contract Steve(owner) shows up at my house and hands my a bill for almost $50k more in overages that hadn’t ever gotten a change or work order approval from myself. The incompetence of management was absolutely at fault for this overage and imo should own fault in this. I hope my warning to others saves them from my absolutely awful experience in dealing w Neyer Elite Carpentry.Review from Sarah T

Neyer Elite Carpentry did extensive work on our 103 year old home. The transformation was phenomenal! Steve and his crew not only corrected some structural issues we were having but helped modernize our Craftsman style home while maintaining the old charm feel. He transformed an old musty basement, with little use except for storage, and created a wonderful place for our large family to gather. He creatively rerouted duct work and utilized space that was unused and wasted. We now have enough space for eight grandkids and adults to gather. Our first floor is now a show stopper with built in lighted china cabinets that arch over the dining room entrance to the new kitchen creating a beautiful open floor plan for a once dark interior kitchen. He also transformed our family room creating much more open and light filled room with a new stairwell access to the basement. Truly amazing and we love it-so does everyone else who sees it! Steve and his crew were fabulous to work with. Had a downstairs family room that needed updating which included removing old paneling and installing drywall (there was no drywall behind the paneling) as well as new flooring in the kitchen & upstairs landing plus new stairs. He had to repair the two sets of stairs as they were not properly installed when the house was built in 1979. Found a water line leak when doing the stairs and Steve fixed that! In addition, Steve did a built-in on one wall - his design - that turned out just beautiful. His attention to detail & having it done correctly is amazing. The work area was always cleaned up before they left each day. There are not enough words to express my appreciation for Steve's craftmanship - remarkable work. Will definitely use him again if another project comes along.
