I am writing to file a formal complaint against The Deck Doctor regarding the recent fence replacement and gate installation services provided on March 20th, 2024. On March 12th, 2024, I contacted The Deck Doctor by phone to arrange for the replacement of a section of my fence and the installation of three gates. We agreed upon the scope of work, and the services were completed on March 20th, 2024. However, on March 21st, 2024, I discovered a significant issue with one of the gates installed by The Deck Doctor. The gate was approximately 4-5 inches off the ground, creating a large gap that could potentially allow small animals to enter my property. I promptly notified *****, the owner, of the issue via text message and provided photographic evidence. Despite assurances from The Deck Doctor that the issue would be resolved, no action has been taken to rectify the situation. I followed up with ***** on March 25th, 2024, and was informed that their crew would address the issue on Wednesday. However, no further communication or action has been taken since then. I reached out to them today, April 16th and ***** stated due to having surgery that it would be a few weeks before they would come back out. He also stated since I paid final payment and everything was good. The lack of response and failure to address the issue in a timely manner is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the professionalism and integrity of The Deck Doctor. As a paying customer, I expect the work to be completed to a satisfactory standard and any issues to be promptly resolved. At this point, I do not want him back on my property.Business response

Customer was very rude to my employees. Not sure if it was because of their nationality but anyways, we don’t get paid until the customer inspects our work and is satisfied as was this case, so we thought. I offered to work her in our schedule but I guess it wasn’t fast enough for her. My workers are very respectful but she made them uncomfortable coming her residence. She absolutely got a quality job from us.
